Well Kishi did said the movie is going to have lots of fan service so yeah NH and SS fans are going to have a field trip with the movie. Too bad that Hinata and Sasuke are not real.

Chapter is only a pre-cursor to the movie not part of it.

Secondly everyone will see whatever they want to see in these covers. I think debating it is pointless, until as you've said we see how the movie plays out.

By the looks of all the poster drawings I can seriously see SS coming in this movie and NS being totally neglected from sakura's view just like always.

And I disagree with many posts where people are thinking sakura is uncomfortable becz of sasuke she seems happy to me although I would have liked to see her being happy with Naruto and Not sasuke.


The only thing I want for this movie is that the romance between sakura and sasuke doesn't turn out to be too much serious that I forget that Sakura had a bit of development of her feelings towards Naruto which seems to go down the drain with Naruto's heart as well.

I think It'll be the latter. How can it be anything other than fan service if it's not even the real world.

Maybe, but then again If Kishi truly wants NS to be the end pairing, I don't think he's going to reveal any major hints in a movie. He'll most likely do it in the manga.

I would say that she's merely flattered. I think any girl would be if the embodiment of all her superficial pre teen desires suddenly started flirting with her.

The Sasuke in this movie isn't real. He's an illusion. Even if Sakura ended up saying "I could totally date a guy like that", it wouldn't make any difference, because the real world Sasuke is nothing like this AU Sasuke. Hell, it'll only be an even bigger shock for her when she becomes reacquainted with the real Sasuke.

As long as it's canon in Kishimoto's eyes, it's canon in my eyes. But I think this it what would happen if everything was different, or if some situations were avoided. ***invasion of PAAIN**

I at least consider the emotions of the main characters as canon, but maybe the plot is a twisted universe.

A movie is not intwined the the main plot so not it's not canon in the genral sense but the materials, character personalitie, etc. are coming straight from the source so nothing will look out of place

Sorry but kishi said that this movie is a fanservice, after that issue with naruto and his mother, he wanted to draw naruto with his family but it was impossible to do it on a manga so he did it on a movie, You already can see that he had limitations on his own story i will not take as canon since it's a movie.
if u take this as canon dont use it on debates or similar stuff otherwise a lot of people will ignore your comments if u use this.

Dude, it may not be canon but it's as close to what's factual in the manga as we're gonna get. Characters won't be out and about away from how they're supposed to be portrayed

Put yourself in a SS fan shoes who wouldn't die to see Sasuke actually smiling and flirting with Sakura it's a dream come true for them, even if he's part of a genjutsu created by Tobi the same goes to NH fans. This movie like everyone has said it's about fan service and I will also agree with ciardha of Kishi trying to give the readers the big picture when it comes to the pairings and show the one pairing he has been developing in his manga for years.

Indeed but everything is very one sided in this universe. SO I'll just tell them what 's in the movie stays in the movie

Sorry, but I'm trying to prove to a friend that this movie is going to be canon. Can someone provide me the source that says explicitly that this movie will take place in canon? Please?

Err it's not canon, really. Just That Kishimoto is doing it him self so Characters don't seem so out of whack like in those Freaking fillers.

Where the information on Sakura's role in the movie? Will she fight Will she help Naruto? I'm starting to feel Kishi will mess up her character even more in this movie.

It's Kishimoto, buddy, Have more faith in him. You KNOW he's aiming for Sakura to more positive feedback just is working to it cause Portaying women is hard for him as always.

Exactly! If Sakura is "supposed" to be a protagonist in this movie then she should have a bigger role just like Naruto. Instead we get more information on AU Hinata in which she's NOT even a protagonist why is she getting more spot slight than the heroine. I swear if Kishi screws up with her character I will declare him a terrible writer as must as it will pain me to say. I don't want to see Sakura getting a few scenes (and most of those scenes being with AU Sasuke and less spending time with Naruto). I want to see her shining in this movie proving that she's the heroine of the series, I want to see her having an epic fight, I want to see her fighting by Naruto's side. But any information regarding her hasn't even been brought up. I'm starting to get annoy here why can Kishi at least give us a small hint about Sakura's role?

Halfstarstudios@ I really hope you're wrong on this, I don't want Kishi contributing to make the western fan base to hate her even more than they do. If that's even possible.

I want Sakura to have a bigger role in general. Like in the manga, and also to have more power to fulfill that role because the girls are getting overshadowed usually. It's not intentional I know but I would be way happier more attention is Given to Sakura as well.

BECAUSE????? What so she's not a good character if she likes Sasuke? This one isn't even real and besides It does not say she will stay like that, she'll probably be uncomfortable with the attention later on

Well if that's the case then I will give some speculation that The guy said said specifically that "ANY person that you like must be a great person"And who was her first Crush? He did not mean THE person Sakura loves is a great person he meant that because she seemed so kind and nurturing as a doctor or nurse she must be a good judge of character, and has a good eye for good men, which she tells her self he's wrong. But if you're talking about the anime then, I;ll have you know that the anime versions of characters may give a wrong impression at times due to the extra content with fillers. So whatever you see in the Anime version of Sakura that "ruins" is nothing more than extra non canon fluff to extend the episode to fit the slot time.

No, it's because she keeps on relying on Naruto, lied to him(not talking about the confession), went behind his back, betrayed her team, almost got her self killed, has been shoved down into side character level, hasn't had a decent fight since the start of Shippuden and still loves Sasuke after he tried to kill her 3 times. She's supposed to be a main character in this movie but Kishi just shows how much he doesn't care about his supposedly female lead. Though it's not Sakuras fault, Kishi just sucks a writing females.
