Btw, what did you think of the last chapter? I thought it was excellent! That red hawk though! Bellamy getting kicked was hilarious. And Law chillin' like a villain in Doffy's chair after the switch was pretty badass as well.

And it's funny how some NH bashes Naruto and some SS bashes Sakura or Sasuke. But you got me there.

Yeah that red hawk really turned me on. Seeing Bellamy get straight up disrespected like that was hilarious. Did you watch the OP 3d2y special? I liked the fight against World. Luffy got his ass beat pretty good lol.

Although, from the list you provided, I do honestly think that Zoro is the most loyal and most trusted (apart from Nami on that, they are both the most trusted). Yeah I saw that, meant to ask you about that awhile ago lol i thought it was pretty good. I thought the recap of the war was pretty cool, I liked how they redid the part where he decked garp in the jaw. I looks like it might be pretty interesting.

The new A-NS argument is that this chapter confirms Naruto was joking in 631 because back then he said that Sakura was his girlfriend but now he says that not everything has been going the way mom told him. What do you guys think about this?

I've seen this multiple times.

 

I say the use of the parallel and the fact that it was brought up yet again says otherwise about Kishi's intentions.

Also, Naruto may not have been referring to his love life when he said that. Or it could be that he was referring to the fact that he doesn't know whether Sakura returns his feelings or not.

I've thought about it a bit, and...the Naruto timeline is really confusing. Overall, two years are supposed to have passed in part two. So I'm trying to figure out how long after the Pain arc did the Summit arc happen.

Cuz, in the Pain arc, Naruto was 16. So about a year after the beginning of part two, at the most. And he's supposed to be 17 now.

They get so caught up in the moment that their praise for the character is excessive and annoying, it's like none of the crew members even measure up to him.

 

I don't really like recaps tbh. It's part of the reason why I stopped watching the anime because that's one of their methods to run up the time for an episode. I'm so in love with Akainu's beard lol. Even though Luffy is my fav character I love seeing him get his ass beat like he stole something. Worlds devil fruit ability is pretty badass too.

I think it was in the manga. Kishi's dragged out this war for, what, four years?

I wouldn't expect anyone, even the people with the stamina they have in this manga, to be able to fight nonstop for more than a few days. So the last battle at least could not have been any longer than that.

I think Naruto was serious with his response, which was that she was "sorta, something like that". He knows she might return his feelings eventually, considering the fact that he she has expressed the desire to not like Sasuke anymore. I think he is somewhat pessimistic about it though. I think we should somewhat consider their perspective (not that it was a joke though) because it would be strange for Naruto to be completely positive about Sakura being his girlfriend after the events of the Kage Summit arc.

 

He KNOWS Sakura may not have returned his feelings, that's why he said that not everything is going just the way his mom told him. But he said that he's been trying his best, which is what counts.
