To me it's not all that different. His interactions with Naruto was positive based on the fact that he needed to use him. And in part one, Naruto did try to reason with him but got a chidori to the chest.
Well his interactions with Naruto before throughout the war have been more positive than what he has been with Sakura. On top of that Naruto knew going into this expecting a fight, Sakura tried using reasoning and talking to him.
So no, I don't agree that SS is shocking while SN is not.
