Well his interactions with Naruto before throughout the war have been more positive than what he has been with Sakura. On top of that Naruto knew going into this expecting a fight, Sakura tried using reasoning and talking to him.

To me it's not all that different. His interactions with Naruto was positive based on the fact that he needed to use him. And in part one, Naruto did try to reason with him but got a chidori to the chest.

So no, I don't agree that SS is shocking while SN is not.

Yes exactly! It's a retcon. And I don't accept it. But she was used to point out a "retcon" situation. That doesn't warrant bashing.
Sakura's rivalry for Ino was fueled by her feelings for Sasuke just like Naruto's rivalry with Sasuke was fueled by his feelings for Sakura BEFORE the retcon. They were similar BEFORE the retcon. But no, they aren't AFTER it.
You can't get angry at Shikamaru for getting angry at Naruto's cowardness saying that that's bs when he actually was portrayed like that in the movie. The same situation happened here with Naruto and Sakura here. She just pointed out what was portrayed of him in the movie.
Anyways, Sakura after 699 and Naruto in the LAST are both dead to me.

 

I guess that's part of my point, too. Everything after 698 is so obviously OOC and a blatant retcon. The Naruto I followed was an awesome guy. The one who doesn't care about his bonds is the polar opposites.

 

we should not bash characters simply because they have faults. They are fictional characters, so all of their behaviors and OOC decisions are due by their puppetmaster, which has decided to completely ruin their journeys just for the sake of Hinata The Movie. I feel sorry for them, not bash them. Criticize just the author, who made a pile of nonsense retcons.

No seriously guys: Was it ever explained how the other half of Kurama was put inside Naruto? I'm writing my alternate ending and I'm dealing with the closure of the Tailed Beast part and I seriously can't remember. I want to know if I need to make my own explanation for that part or Kishimoto actually took care of that.

It's painful that the kids reading the manga don't realize how stupid it is that a man who was excused from crimes is producing the DNA that caused them in the first place
