Simple THEY DON"T LIKE HER No matter how many fights she will win in the future People will always over look her accomplishments and make up excuses as to why her wins are not a big deal, and also what tax-man said is true too there is always a better and more important fight showing with Naruto or Kakashi or Sasuke to name a few by the way I thought up jutsu for Sakura too

You still doubt that after all this time?

I was rather annoyed when I saw what US Shonen Jump did to that image, it goes right along with the strangely rather inaccurate translation in 504 of Kushina's advice to Naruto about what type girl he should avoid, rather odd because the rest was fairly accurate....
Okay, I see now. The version I read had too much text, so you couldn't even see Ino and half of Tenten's faces. At least if it's all of the Konoha 11 then there's not too much significance in him including Hinata among his 'best friends'.
As far as the eyes go, I guess I really didn't see blushing my first time, but they definitely look different than usual. And you're right noone else has that lower eye 'line'. She's either lightly blushing or Kishi randomly decided to draw bags under her eyes. And I don't know why Naruto would see Sakura as 'tired' in his mind.

bthug said he hasn't really read the manga, he watches the anime.
bthug, you really need to read the manga. The anime adaption does too much filler, distorts Naruto and Sakura's personalities in those fillers- Naruto too stupid, and Sakura waaay too tsundere and weaker- she gets knocked out way too much in fillers compared to manga canon (yet something else the anime did to contribute to negative fan opinion of Sakura), and sometime they even undermine canon narusaku moments from the manga: the attempted ramen feeding scene is an obvious one in part 2. In part 1 they glaringly leave out Sakura selflessly (without a thought of self preservation, Sasuke or their client Tazuna) acting to save Naruto's life at the beginning of Zabuza's attack in chapter 11, Kakashi shields Sasuke, Sakura immediately throws herself on top of Naruto- much to his surprised blushing pleasure

You can find even early chapters online- if you hunt for them. You might also try your local public library, lots of them in the US have manga collections that you can borrow.

I think that they would have reached this point eventually regardless.
Sakura was already coming to appreciate and recognize Naruto even with Sasuke there. The scenes that come instantly to my mind are of Sakura being willing to quit the chuunin exams for Naruto's dreams, Sakura having that whole flashback of being wrong in her initial impression of Naruto during his fight with Kiba, her thanking Naruto for helping her in the fight with Ino, and then her softly smiling at Naruto after hearing that he was the one that saved her from Gaara. Likewise, Naruto's actions and feelings for were selfless and strong for Sakura before Sasuke left.
It just would have happened with less angst along the way too had Sasuke never left.

I think Naruto and Sakura would be closer, cause Naruto would still be the man, saving the day and still be constantly hunted. Neither Naruto or Sakura would have to worry about sasuke, so they could focus on each other more and besides sasuke never showed any feeling toward Sakura.

That's true, the anime does sort of distort things, but I don't know if we can really say it's bias against us. Personally, I feel like Shippuden has been pretty good with our pairing. They did screw up the ramen feeding scene, and makes Sakura act more tsundere, but I thought the anime's version of the Rasen-Shuriken training during the Hidan/Kakuzu arc was really hinting at NaruSaku. I mean first Sakura makes soldier pills for Naruto (I might be wrong, but I think I read somewhere that a girl preparing food for a guy before courtship has some sort of romantic connation in Japan). Then she has a conversation with Iruka about how 'everyone's changing'. Then she reflects on the photo (that actually was canon) and remembers Naruto complimenting her during the Land of Waves arc, and even recalls Yamato's unfinished sentence! Then, it shows Naruto holding some notes Sakura wrote for him over his heart. And throughout the rest of it, they basically show Sakura crying when Naruto gets hurt during the training, and getting mad when Sai belittles Naruto.
So yeah, the anime definitely adds a lot of extra NaruHina/SasuSaku scenes, and belittles NaruSaku sometimes, but I don't think it's that bad. But good or bad, the manga is the original, so that's the best place to go to truly understand the character relationships.

Some people are just stupid and ignorant, especially with dialogue. Sasori took out a COUNTRY. They think she's weak because she had Chiyo's help? My goodness. How often have they seen Hinata hold her own? Not against Neji. Can't remember any other fights, oh yeah, because she's a side character.

-She got owned by her sister (five years younger than her).
-She got owned by Neji at the chunin exams.
-She stood at the side lines while Naruto and Yamato confronted Kabuto during the hunt for Sasuke and Itachi arc.
-She got owned by Pain.
Question who is really weak???

EXACTLY...... whatever Sakura haters say thats negative to her applies one hundredth fold to their PRECIOUS GODDESS( If they're Hinata fans) She hasn't done anything useful since day one of her introduction and don't forget FILLERS don't count If Sakura is SO USELESS then name ONE Time your beloved Hinata won a fight in her life not counting the war she did not kill anyone important

I agree with everything except with Pain. I'm sure if Sakura had fought Pain she would have gotten owned as well. Kakashi lost against Pain as did Jiraiya. So I wouldn't have expected any of the Rookie 9 to be able to take him on.

In addition Hinata has beaten some bee's and some guy with some magnetic powers, oh wait those were fillers they don't count as official cannon material.
Omegaman@
True but Sakura is smart and she will never charge head first without a plan against someone who managed to killed Jiraiya and Kakashi.

On second thought, maybe it's better it was a minor character like Hinata to get hurt in front of him.

Now that I mention it, Lee's "love" for Sakura is very similar to hinata's feeling towards Naruto and we know that's not going anywhere, at least I hope not...btw does Sakura refer to Naruto as "Kun" in the manga/Japanese anime.

She doesn't use honorifics. Its just "Naruto". In japanese culture its a big deal for 2 people to not use honorifics when calling their names. It means they share a close relationship. Well I guess all of you should know this already.
