thats just it though, back when 631 came out i was on here and the mp version was the one like the raws, and then the viz version not only was similar to the mp version it basically made it more clear. even with mp people couldn't tell if naruto was joking because of the way they worded it yet when viz's came out you could tell right away.

But I can almost swear that at first they didn't translate it as MP it was different I think SS NH made a kitten over that ? Also most of the time they are wrong in their trans so that's why this comes as a surprise .

 

 

i totally trust our friends translation . specially when the raw is out . .  and if viz knew there mistakes and corrected them .i think its ok to rely on them too. 

Perhaps we shall see still don't have to much faith in them  for reasons stated above by other users .

Well then, hope Naruto and Sasuke finish their fight quick. It'd be hilarious if they do all that fighting and when they finally undo IT all that's left are Zetsus. Then "The Last" would be them doing what they can to fix it. Zombie Apocalypse, only with Zetsus instead.

big debate going on which translation is accurate since i posted the shonen jump alpha pages of the chapter. some people, like me, think viz has different translators now since they have been improving over time from what i can tell, while others don't want to at least give viz a chance xD

I thought he said she was annoying in 181, not that he's sick of her.

He did, but in the Viz's version they translated it as "you make me sick", same with chapter three.

It has Sasuke saying "You make me feel sick"

it's true that "uzai" means annoying, but I used to own the 1st volume, if thats anything to go by, and I remember they made sasuke say "you make me sick". I don't know about the official trans of 181 but I assumed they kept it the same

I'm gonna be completely serious, when I skimmed that sentence the first time I thought it said "she wants to save him from the Viz translation.

Both Viz and the raw imply that Sakura doesn't want to "be with" Sasuke anymore. Viz has Kakashi say:
"And Sakura's not trying or wanting to make you hers! She only wants to save you!"
Everyone's surprised Viz was accurate for once.

Viz and other trans are saying that Kakashi states that Sakura doesn't want to be with Sasuke but wants to help him.  There now you know.

if you want to be technical, shonen jump alpha is in fact part of the viz website, not to mention the  one piece manga is done by viz, same with the new dub

To be honest they make the Sakura part about not being able to getting close and trading blows much clear and ,makes sense with what you were trying to tell   . MS , MP missed that completely .

Raw and Viz showed the similar main meaning behind Sakura's speech. It is 99% platonic.
