At that stage, I wouldnt say narusaku was six feet under, only strangely sidelined. The movie author had to really kill it, considering so much of the manga hammered in the fact that Naruto really loves Sakura.

That particular plot-point in The Last was not only lazy writing, but it also made Naruto look like scumbag. I mean, really? Lie about your feelings and worse, for rivalry? Even though your rival couldnt give a damn about her?

What's just as bad is it makes it feel like Sakura toyed with Naruto's "feelings" to use him to get Sasuke back, which is just as terrible as what that dumbass plot idea did to Naruto!

oh true i remembered they did bleach but totally forgot about yu yu hakusho (I'm also watching Kimagure Orange Road which also is by sp). Also I started to watch the original Rurouni Kenshin because I never saw it and a remake started airing this year and I noticed one of the characters has a single finger flick move very similar to tsunade's

From various Japanese anime/video games I have seen that have done it. My guess is, finger flicking the forehead seems to be a way of teasing/chastising someone in Japan. Its also can used to show how strong someone is in a story. Do it to yourself to see, its mostly harmless. So, if someone can do it and it knocks someone flat; that character must be super strong.

Its a move thats seen on kung fu, which influenced a lot of Asian cinema (especially Hong Kong cinema), which makes sense why its seen in anime.

Any thoughts? Imo hinata being stronger than tsunade is about as true as naruto telling sarada he was super popular as a kid

From what I recall reading it over a decade ago. Rudy introduction was she was inspired by Bulma introduction. 'She was a girl going around looking for O-Parts for I think money she may have been looking for the legendary O-Part Satan, while she could somewhat handle herself. However, she was still a girl so she decides to partner up with this strange yet strong boy as her bodyguard.' I think she also discovered Jio was Satan due to being attack by some thug but decided to stick by him because she felt they were friends by that point. Causing Jio to fall for her.

 

Sakura was introduced as, 'the pretty girl Naruto had a crush on that had a crush on another boy. Then he complimented her while transformed as Sasuke causing her to fall in love with Sasuke. Finally due to that misunderstanding she insulted orphans in front of Sasuke, causing Sasuke to dislike her, causing her to realize she was a brat, and she should try to improve herself by being nicer to Naruto.' Also she was at least competent as she was able to pass the exam Naruto failed and became a member on his team to balance out his poor stats.

 

The problem from what I recall with 666 Satan was that while it had some good moments it was too derivative. I also don't recall any of its arcs really being that well written or memorable compared to say the Wave arc or the chunin exam in Naruto.

 

666 Satan was, "good but you could see why it was cancelled," from what I recall.

The only justification for this is based on a retconning, asspull movie. Also, so what if Hinata is "Stronger"? (I use quotations because I personally find it to be wishful thinking on the part of her stans.) she never does anything useful   Sakura is touted as the useless one but mythical byakugan princessu is the one with the mightiest power but does the least with it.

And I've stated in the past,  it's a power-up that she never utilizes outside of this movie nor is it ever indicated in Boruto that she even still has it.  It's a one-time deal and even her sycophants over at Pierrot don't seem eager to change that. Especially now they're finally accepted that Hinata isn't profitable.
