Given the fact that Salad looks suspiciously like Karin and that Kishi has been making NS/SK parallels since the Itachi arc. Chances are he was originally intended to end up with her if nobody else atleast.

I was wondering something like that. Why would Kishomoto mirror Karin with Sakura saving the guy's lives? It's beyond weird for me. 

I mean, by that time, they were doing the movie already, but I believe Kishimoto did all what he wanted by himself anyway until 698 (except 693 and the hand holding thing, Neji dying etc) as a way of protesting.

Sakura should be bashed for going back to her fangirling self in chapter three if there was a reason. And her blushing at him in chapter 699 made me cringe.
And regarding the part of "rivalry" she brought up, you're saying she should be bashed for speaking the truth? Naruto WAS the one who tried to flirt and date with a girl who he didn't love just to get back at Sasuke. I don't understand your logic about Sakura should be bashed for pointing out the truth. I don't understand her love for Sasuke but it was never shown that it was borne from her rivalry with Ino. If there is a manga panel showing that please give the link.

Except we both know that the rivalry thing with Naruto isn't really the case, Kishi is just a damn retard. It might not have been borne of the rivalry, to be honest I believe that Sakura had a crush on Sasuke as a method to be accepted by the kids at the academy. However, both Sakura and Ino elevated from that to a new level, and used Sasuke as a grounds to compete with each other, just as Kishi's reprehensible retcon portrayed Naruto. Sakura threw away her friendship with Ino because the were "love" rival, despite never knowing what real love is. Her "love" for Sasuke was never about Sasuke, it was about beating Ino and proving herself worthy and better in front of Ino. In this way, her "love" for Sasuke has always been as shallow as what Kishi's retcon is. I don't believe that I need panels for this, as every single panel of Ino and Sakura together demonstrates this in part one, as well as a few in part two.

Also, I did say that neither should be bashed as those hideous representations of Naruto and Sakura are not the real Naruto and Sakura. I will forever despise Kishi for doing this to my two favorite characters.

I don't think he even planned NH until sometime early this year (probably around the Juubidara fight or when Kaguya appeared)

The fact that the movie was taking 2 years (likely due to massive rewrites of the story) further reinforce this theory. Kishi probably wanted to use the last for NS but SP guilt tripped him into making Naruto Hinata's reward

I think he planned NH before Pein arc (It seems like that to me)
& hence, created that scene of Hinata


& then again, he made Sakura still love Sasuke (as he already planned NH)

I don’t get why people accept this BS explanation when it's obviously a retcon. Scenes like the chapter 3, hospital hug, the poal or even the dialogue with Sai directly contradicts the notion that Naruto only did this because of his rivalry with Sasuke, this excuse doesn’t make any sense in the context of the manga. Let's add to that if Naruto only did that because of Sasuke why didn’t he go after every Sasuke's fangirls, it's ridiculous to accept this when in direch contradiction with manga canon.

I just don't see it. He'd piss of way to many people to do that. The only way either pairing gets some kind of canon stamp is if they become an alternate reality pairing, and Kishimoto says pick whatever world you like better.... but I don't see that happening either.

Yes exactly! It's a retcon. And I don't accept it. But she was used to point out a "retcon" situation. That doesn't warrant bashing.

Sakura's rivalry for Ino was fueled by her feelings for Sasuke just like Naruto's rivalry with Sasuke was fueled by his feelings for Sakura BEFORE the retcon. They were similar BEFORE the retcon. But no, they aren't AFTER it.

You can't get angry at Shikamaru for getting angry at Naruto's cowardness saying that that's bs when he actually was portrayed like that in the movie. The same situation happened here with Naruto and Sakura here. She just pointed out what was portrayed of him in the movie.

Anyways, Sakura after 699 and Naruto in the LAST are both dead to me.

The problem here, teddy bear, is that there is a difference in Sakura's and Naruto's characters. I mean, "the new ones". You say that they both deserve to be bashed because of what they did and doesn't deserve to be bashed because it was Kishimoto's fault. I understand what you are trying to say here, but...the thing is...Naruto became a jerk in the movie for more than 1 reason:

1) He used Sakura for his rivalry with Sasuke.

2) He wanted to peek on her, so he desire her sexually. It means he would probably sleep with her if it means to beat Sasuke.

3) Sakura healed him for days and couldn't walk because of that and he only cared for Hinata.

4) He literally forgot about everyone that wasn't Hinata.

But what about Sakura? If we are talking about what they represent as characters morally speaking, we could shame on her for this in 699: Wanting to leave Konoha when they needed her the most. 

Not because she never stop loving Sasuke, because she has zero obligation to do that. 

Not because she "used" Naruto to get Sasuke's kitten, because it was proved not true: 1) She said "the promise" doesn't stand anymore. 2)In the movie she was prove to be devoted to Naruto as a friend. She loves him as a friend, so every one of her emotions to him before all this were true.

 

IF ANYTHING, no one should be bashed, but IF SOMETHING...the one that actually deserves to be bashed is Naruto, not Sakura.

Kishimoto is an kitten but I don't think he could pull that off, he's not THAT skilled. Honestly the only way NS happens is if they change some of the contents of the last chapter, act like the movie and ch. 700 s filler or genjutsu and try to make another ending. Or go with the alternate 'universe' ending . To much work, not enough fans would like that unless characters personalities are redeemed and bonds are relevant again, and not enough kittens are given towards Narusaku/sasukarin fandom or towards Sakura in general 'cause SP hates Sakura and loooove Hinata. Also they would have to try to show Hinata actually caring about something other than her Nardo-kun, and you know her fans won't like that. Either way, kishimoto screwed himself. Nice goin' SP.

Her confession? That's something that needed closure at some point. Sakura loved Sasuke but she also loved Naruto. I don't think MK parallel was meant to mislead us because that literally makes no sense. Naruto could have had interactions with Hinata's family and vice versa as oppose to him meeting Sakura's parents, Sakura meeting his parents and having some form of interaction with his family (shared a scene with Jiraiya, Konohamaru, Tsunade, Sasuke all people who are family to Naruto) while Hinata has interacted with none of them

This isn't a big troll but if you want something to hold on, you could be praying to him to regret for everything and make another ending, as how it should be.

The sad part is that it wasn’t even necessary to destroy so many characters to make NH canon, he could have made Sakura move on or end up with Lee, he could have made Naruto move on, yes that sucks and goes against Naruto’s character but it is so much better than the garbage we got and he definitively didn't need to kill Neji, it's as if he choose the worst way possible to make NH canon and destroy all he can along the way.
I'm starting to feel sorry for Kishi tough he sure isn't the best writer in the world but he seems to be a decent man and I don't think anyone deserves such hate over a manga, he gives me the impression to be easily influenced and I think that was his downfall, 15 years of writing on a daily basis must have taken its toll.
