Man, I haven't been by that thread in a while.

Anyway, I'm obviously doing a poor job articulating my point if people think I'm advocating for Sakura bashing. I just want to see a fair treatment to both halves of our OTP. That's all.

See my edit. I do not want them to bash Sakura. I don't even care about what is on 2ch, only what I see here. I think it's problematic to excuse one character and not the other. I don't think SKura should be bashes. But I don't think Naruto should, either.

The problem doesn't lie with the ppl, but you trying to put everything on the same level. It's like saying Obito shouldn't get bashed for murdering millions of people when Neji gains sympathies from fans when he injured Hinata in the chuunin arc. You can't put one and the other on the same table and get angry at people for not bashing Neji enough as much as Obito. Of course this is an extreme example to make my point.

Edit: okay I saw your edit. If you just don't want the Naruto bashing tell the ppl to blame on Kishi instead of bringing Sakura up and trying to make her look as if her characterization is as worse as Naruto's in the movie.

It's true that that's what usually happens, but I won't take it as rule since it would be a falacy. The sample space doesn't cover everything up. The ending we had is an example, lol. Anyway, I believe he had chances to end up with someone because how Kishimoto seemed to be fond of Sasuke. Even if I wanted Sasuke to end up alone, I was feeling that Kishimoto wouldn't let that happen. So, I was wondering if that happened, it would be a random girl without a face or what?

Given the fact that Salad looks suspiciously like Karin and that Kishi has been making NS/SK parallels since the Itachi arc. Chances are he was originally intended to end up with her if nobody else atleast.

RTN was pretty good, but honestly I can't stomach anything that deals with NS anymore. I'm not sure why NS fans would still want to support kishimoto by watching the movie after everything he has said and done.

To be honest, both deserve to be bashed. Naruto for obvious reasons, and Sakura for going back on her development and having the nerve to bring up rivalries and love given her history.

With that said, neither one deserve to be bashed. Because both you, me, and the people at 2ch probably know that the Naruto and Sakura that appear at the end of the series are not the same as the Naruto and Sakura that appeared prior. They are two completely different entities. Those two deplorable excuses for Naruto and Sakura are not the real Naruto and Sakura. Nothing more to be said, really.

Hell, if you're gonna bash anyone, That dumbass Kishi should be public enemy 1-100.

Oh, btw, I'm quoting you, but I'm only speaking in general, I'm not trying to argue with or at you.

Sakura should be bashed for going back to her fangirling self in chapter three if there was a reason. And her blushing at him in chapter 699 made me cringe.

And regarding the part of "rivalry" she brought up, you're saying she should be bashed for speaking the truth? Naruto WAS the one who tried to flirt and date with a girl who he didn't love just to get back at Sasuke. I don't understand your logic about Sakura should be bashed for pointing out the truth. I don't understand her love for Sasuke but it was never shown that it was borne from her rivalry with Ino. If there is a manga panel showing that please give the link.

There is not direct relation, it would be a reason. It isn't "because of this, that will happen", it's "because of this, that could happen", there is a difference. What's the principal reason of Naruto's ending happening? Ok, Hinata, but why? Because he thought and he was conviced she was popular, what the fans wanted, they hated Sakura, probably his assistant spoke about it too, etc. Kishimoto let that happen, he was influenced. He's a weak mind, lol, but anyway. Since we are talking about one alone person and his moves, his decisions, it will be different than say something about Shonen in general. Kishimoto seems to be ruled by his emotions more than logic. In this case would be wanting to please everyone. This tendency gives me just an image of how he is, but I don't take it as proof either. But that image could be important once the answer is out. What I said was one thing alone of why I think 1) IF Kishimoto decided to go for that route, it could be one of the reasons 2) Why would Kishimoto go for that route, could it be the reason?
So, due to Kishimoto's personality I was bassing my FEELING on his tendency. Never said that it was what happened or what should have happened. 
To add one more thing to my first idea in my last comment, I would say that we've seen Kishimoto favoring Sasuke through the entire manga, so, this plus the other tendency explained above, gives me "the feeling" that that was the case :v

Argh, your "Sakura should get bashed" rants are starting to get annoying. Most people in Japan don't care about pairings. No one will bash Naruto just because he chose Hinata or Bash Sakura/Karin just because she chose Sasuke. They are not angry at Sakura for forgiving Sasuke like you want them to be. If they were, they wouldn't have read a manga where the main character is following Sasuke's butt for 15 years. ..

What about you ramen? Aren't you from Japan (or foreigner who can speak Japanese)? You ship NS, right?

Nothing about it makes any logical sense. Sakura wasn't even the most popular girl in class. If Naruto was going to jsut try to hurt Sasuke's standing he should have logically went after Ino. He never loved Sakura to hurt Sasuke. That's one of the dumbest retcons to come from this.

I don't think he even planned NH until sometime early this year (probably around the Juubidara fight or when Kaguya appeared)

The fact that the movie was taking 2 years (likely due to massive rewrites of the story) further reinforce this theory. Kishi probably wanted to use the last for NS but SP guilt tripped him into making Naruto Hinata's reward
