Yeah it got cancelled. Seishi said himself he wanted to make a better epilogue (by also making JioxRuby canon) but WSJ wanted him to end the series already because even though it was really well received it wasn't selling any better than moderately plus it was sandwiched between a bunch of manga juggarnauts (Naruto, Bleach, OP, FMA, HXH)

Which is why the last chapter is so rushed and.....well.....downright depressing "everyone dies The End"

 

I'm not gonna lie the final chapter did seem rushed, but I'll always admit and say that 666 Satan had a much better ending than Naruto. Intially I didn't really like the ending to the manga, but the more I re-read the manga and the got the ending the more I appreciated it for what it was. What I like about the ending to Seishi's manga is that it's open ended at least to me. 

 

It's like inception when you get to the end it's up to the audience gets to decide what really happened. So I say Jio and Ruby did become a couple in the end, but again that's just my take on all of this.

Lol at Kishi being jealous of Kakashi's popularity. Reducing him screen time made him even more popular because it prevented Kishi from damaging Kakashi's character.

There is no friggin' way Naruto could top Kakashi anymore.

"Neji dying for the sake of Naruhina was simply convenient. It shows he developed. He may have died for Naruhina but there was still meaning behind it. If it was truly only about pushing Naruto and Hinata together, Kishimoto might have as well killed Kiba instead."

Sasuke is a combi of tsundere and yandere. He never admits that he loves Sakura and yet tries to kill her everytime he saw her with Naruto.
