Sasuke in many ways feels like something that should of been a side plot, became the main plot

Naruto's obsession with Sasuke was weird. I mean In KH2, Sora was looking for Riku because he was worried he might be dead. Especially after he asked Mickey and he wouldn't answer.

There are many ways in which Sasukes story arc couldve been handled in the grand scheme of part 2 especially after the 2nd half of the timeskip!

Plus there's the concern Riku had for how Ansem/Xehanort had used him in the course of the first game, and Riku being blinded by the guilt on his conscience for letting himself be used dud to his jealousy.

Nomura knows how to write the Naruto-Sasuke friendship better than Kishi.

Roxas also (unintentionally) implied in his duel with Sora that he had killed Riku, which set Sora on edge and added further to his stress.  Not to mention that the two of them have known each other *at least* since they were four-five years old, with Riku even stating in a KH3 Ultimania short story that he's always looked out for Sora as an older brother.  I always felt (at least back when I still convinced myself that Kishimoto was a competent writer) that the reason Naruto was so obsessed with Sasuke was because he saved his life.  For a person who grew as isolated and disdained as Naruto, an act such as that - especially by a person who hated him - would leave quite an impact on him, which led to him overcompensating his sense of loyalty towards Sasuke.

plus the whole thing that he looked like ansem form his duel with roxas from 358/2 days. but at least riku was watching over sora as nanime tried to fix him from chain of  memories

Before looking at the comments. Sasuke is in theory correct in a pragmatic sense. Sasuke and Naruto are the only two that can defeat her, given power to do so by the Sage of Six Paths, they have to work together to do that, and they should focus on Kaguya in order to save the world; if they are divided they will lose. Where he goes too far is telling Naruto to completely abandon Kakashi and Sakura to their deaths'.

 

1) Simply because it is immoral to abandon one, especially people you know and care about, to such cruel deaths when you have the power to easily save them.

2) Sasuke may no longer care about them, but Naruto does. Abandoning them to their deaths' will affect him and likely effect his battle effectiveness. Leaving a shadow clone to protect them, is not an issue for him. As he can normally create hundreds and even in Kurama mode can at least produce dozens.

3) Just because they don't have the power to seal her away, doesn't mean they are useless. Sakura's healing, and Kakashi's strategic mind could be very helpful and were vital to defeating Kaguya.

 

The scene is suppose to show that Sasuke is still not reformed and this is still not Team 7 back together again. As well as to give another scene to show Sasuke doesn't really have feelings towards Sakura and to make clear to Sakura this fact; just like the time she charged at Madara. Which to me seem that this was Kishimoto trying to convince the higher up to at the very least not do SS, of course they didn't care, and you have these scenes damaging the pairing. But don't worry, they ordered him to do the eye sex scene later which makes it all good.

 

Also, it was counter by Naruto bringing up the wave arc to remind Sasuke did something similar causing him to drop the issue.

 

Lets see the comments...some are just going it is pragmatic and not going farther than that. Sasuke is still an antagonist by the rules of the story telling he must be at least slightly wrong about something. Or they just go with his hidden feeling for Sakura.

...*Check's to see if connection is that new Naruto game coming out.* Hey, remember when Therece said there would be no filthy Ikemoto's characters or anything from his manga? That instead it will be about an alternate story before Boruto about nH/SS or something like that? Remember how he acted offended and demanded proof when I suggest they may put those characters in the game; if they weren't already developed in others...like that flop Shinobi strike. In theory, Naruto should be in a similar position to what Dragonball is today. Lots of video games to make profit off of, maybe a movie every once and a while when Kishimoto comes up with an interesting idea, and anime and sequel manga people actually buy. The fact that it hasn't is a sore spot for the executives. If this game doesn't make them the money they want since CC2 is back to making Naruto games I can see them being very unhappy.

Yeah, Naruto is 100% dead, and the ones left are the pro enders who still think they will get a new film and fans will grow to lobe Boruto. They just need to give the new manga a chance. But we here all know that Naruto is dead, and they are still trying to show Naruto is going strong.

Same here I still like the fan art done by NaruSaku fans which I still see, but many of us have left onto better things many of us are here to see it burn and mainly we are all friends and like to talk to each other.
