Ah, that scene! I was totally baffled when I read this scene in the manga b/c I watched the anime first up to episode 8. I was internally raging that the anime left such an important scene out. Not only is there some great Touken dynamic going on, but the explanation of the RC cells is actually very important -.- They also left out the training sessions b/w Touka and Kaneki... Anime-only-watchers would have a better grasp at why their dynamic is so funny in the first place.

I mean, look at this:

Yep, I can't wait for a reboot, but it better not be ongoing! Best to wait until TG:re will be close to ending. The only studios I will accept are Madhouse or Ufotable. I don't like A-1's animation style, doesn't fit the somber and dark tone of the manga. Madhouse is trustworthy based on HxH. Bones- they did a fabulous job on FMAB and Noragami, but I'm unsure if the animation will fit TG. Ufotable- anyone who has watched Fate/Stay Night UBW and Fate/Zero will agree with me.

Looking forward to your comparison video. Hope you will point out as many flaws as possible in Root A to persuade your viewers to read the manga U_U

Dumb questioin, and doesn't really matter, but it's something I've been asking myself for a while now: How old was Touka in TG, and how old is she now? Some say she is 20 now, but I thought she's at least 21...

She was 17 during TG, but it's possible she could have turned 18 during that 6 month timeskip. She's 20 now, but 21 should be right around the corner.

She was 16 in TG first phase then 17...I don't know how old she is now in :re

I thought that there has been at least a three year time skip though b/w TG and :re, so that should make her at least 21 I assume... Akira was 21 in TG, and is now 24 after all.

Btw, in the manga, it is currently the 13th of November. Kaneki's birthday (and Arima's) is on the 20th of December, buuuut Sasaki doesn't know that. He thinks it's April 2nd XD So you could say that Kaneki is turning 23 soon... I saw this nice doujinshi on tumblr, in which Touka gave Sasaki a coffee on the house with a message that said "Happy Birthday", but he was just confused XD Pretty sure, something will happen on the 20th Decemeber.
