Everything Post Pein was really bad.

Excluding some minor moments like Kushina and Minato mini Arc and maybe Madara appearence in the War etc.

I guess the Fanbase was really attached to the Characters/Story  to simply drop the manga even after the massive quality drop and Kishimoto's trolling against characters and pairings.

Oh yeah, it really was. I once described it as the gift that keeps on giving. Every single time you think you've unraveled everything that's wrong with it, you almost immediately find something else that's wrong just by thinking about it for a few seconds.

It relied on some cool moments to distract people from the bad parts.

One thing I don't really understand in anime or manga is why love and romance is viewed as something weird or something that needs to be done at the very end of the show. I get Shonan is more focused on action, but whenever it's just none-stop fighting, it gets very dull and boring after a while. While romance is not something EVERYBODY is going to like, it doesn't mean it HAS to be just lovey-dovey stuff. There can be playful flirting, arguments, teasing, comforting, or even just sitting down to have a one-on-one chat between two characters to act as a break from the plot and fighting, and it gives an opportunity to explore other characters a bit more and offer some relief from the overall plot. 

 

I think this is one thing that kind of puts a lot of people off about certain anime/manga is the fact that romance is written so awkwardly. If two characters like each other, and it's blatantly obvious they like each other, just put them together!

It kinda depends on what sort of story youre trying to tell, but there is a huge benefit having that aspect come at the end after everything has been dealt with.

They stereotype that adolescent males as being uninterested in romance. Despite the fact there are many MANY romance manga under the Shonen genre. Well long story short anyway.
 

This isn't a great Year for NH. 
First Hinata was ignored in the 20Y video anniversary.
SS Manga.
Sakura beating Hinata by a large advantage in the global poll.
Official merchandising Videos ignoring NH as the supposed "main" couple in the series.
 
Now Pierrot is trolling them.
They made Naruto being too harsh to Hinata in Anime version. He called her a idiot and made her come back to the Kitchen.
NH stans are furious.
 
Hinata isn't really a good mother.
She never thinks in her daughter when she wants to die for Nardo.
 

 
This the couple that they wanted. That's all I'll say on that, because I just don't care anymore. If there is any unhappiness and discord on the couple right now, tough beans. I give no sympathies.

Why are NH fans even remotely surprised that she prioritized her sugar daddy over her child?  This is the same woman who tried to gaslight her son on his birthday by stating that her husband was allowed to be negligent because he had a terrible childhood and called him a "burden" that Naruto didn't need to deal with. And told the same twelve year-old son to protect his father, even though his father is a freakin' demigod at this point. And was the one who was willing to leave her sister in the clutches of an enemy so that she can knit a damn scarf to win over the object of her obsession.  Or instantly forgot that her cousin freakin' died to protect her before his corpse even cooled because Naruto was holding her hand.

 

I mean, Hinata's not just a horrible mother, she sucks as a family member on all fronts.

That is so true. I don't the character, but at least he wanted to make amends.

Hinata just continues on her path of screw everyone else, must save Naruto at all cost. Even if that cost is the lives of my children, how cares about them. I can make other ones.

Y'know, there's also a certain irony in that since the anime version of Sakura had her curves and boob size reduced compared to the original manga while Hinata's got a none-to-subtle upgrade for the sake of titillation for the anime viewers. Seeing the pendulum swing in the other direction (or in the case of the anime, giving Sakura back her proportions) and having her supposed "fans" abandon her over it is delicious.

Naruto/Boruto  are  franchise names. Everything related to the series is tied to naruto's name.

There's other characters and the flower Sakura.

But Sakura from Naruto domine the tag in TikTok. Sasuke/kakashi are unique characters. I'm surprised how high they are after 8 years.

 

 

They should cancel Boruto as soon as possible and try to transform these  online views in Sales.

Hinata's popularity was never really a thing. As we've seen it was just a very small fanbase but a very loud one that overshadowed everyone else.

And her fanbase was mostly due to Studio Pierrot with their favoritism towards her. Whenever she was present her scenes were drawn really well, good animation, she appeared in many filler episodes, her confession got an entire episode with flashbacks and fighting to make everyone teary eyed over how amazing this girl is so everyone can demand that she ends up with Naruto because she deserves him because of what she did for him. Even though in the manga, you know the thing that the anime is based on, she goes there confesses then gets tossed aside.

 

You know even though that episode pissed me off because of what they did. What really made me hate that episode was what happened after. We were finally going to see in anime Naruto losing control over the Kyuubi, going berserk and the worst animation ever is what they used because they spent all their budget on Hinata's prior episode.

The downfall of Naruto franchise is listening to noises from the internet without actually understanding their customer segments. Hinata/NH was never popular or bring additional profits; while SS fans purchasing power was very small. This is what happens when a producer get rid of the significant few (NS), which was the largest financial contributor.

Unless they want to keep losing money, the best way is to stop/cancel/end whatever they are producing right now.
