Hmm...well, the last chapter was way too fast, as lots of people have been saying. So fast I was like "wait...what? I don't know what's going on, slow downnnnn!"

Nothing to do but wait, I guess. I'm so ready for this arc to just be over, though.

There's nothing wrong in thinking that Hagoromo could possibly be a villain too. I mean, the level of absurdity is already high in this series as it is.

I never said there was anything wrong with assuming he's up to something I personally don't think he is but we'll find out.

 

If he was up to something I dont know why he would go through so much trouble to bring all of Team 7 back and the Tailed beasts, besides we already know Sasuke is up to something and we already had BZ pull a man behind the man move. There's only so many times Kishi can do this in one arc.

If he was up to something I dont know why he would go through so much trouble to bring all of Team 7 back and the Tailed beasts, besides we already know Sasuke is up to something and we already had BZ pull a man behind the man move. There's only so many times Kishi can do this in one arc. 

Kaguya's defeat feels way too easy and Naruto saying what he said just reeks of something big happening. I think whatever Sasuke is planning is going to be put on hold because of this guy.

Nah, Sasuke's plans were put on hold because of the Juubi, then it was put on hold because of Obito, then Madara, then BZ and Kaguya. If Kishi does plan on doing something with him after 60+ chapters he better give us more of a hint on what it is instead of "well I'm going to regress back into my kitten stage attitude despite the fact that I had a far mroe mature attitude durng the edokage tnj"

SasuSaku fans are so ... different than us. They act like we don't care about Sakura's feelings, that she's just a trophy to the main character. I'm amazed that everything Sasuke has done to Sakura is so easily brushed aside just because they believe that's what she wants."Sakura wants Sasuke, not Naruto, so I ship her with someone she loves".

 

It's funny. There's a couple I've shipped that has vague similarities to SS. It was girl's first love and she went through a lot of pain because of him. He wasn't right for her. Of course this guy really loved her and just made a lot of stupid choices that accidentally hurt her, but still not good. And the girl knew that. Now she tries to go for more healthy options.

 

Now I still ship this ship, but I get she changed and even if a part of her may still love him, she's not gonna be with him. And that's ok. At the end of the day it's my love for the character that's important. I'm not arguing she's the same because she isn't and whatever makes her happy now is fine with me. The funny thing is most of the other shippers of that ship think I'm not a true fan because of that and say similar things SS fans do: "I know she gets hurt a lot, but she loves him and she needs to be with who she loves."--->refuse to acknowledge she's different, their relationship's different, and that guy is unhealthy for her.

 

SasuSaku shippers are these shippers. They refuse to see Sakura's changed and are way too stuck in the past. Even if you think she still loves Sasuke, do not sit there and say he's perfect for her. Just because you ship a ship doesn't mean you should ignore how unhealthy it is and by all accounts someone is better for her and getting away from that relationship is what she needs.

 

Will it hurt? Yes, I can say this from experience. You invested so much in that ship. But if you're a real fan of the heroine, you'll accept she needs a better life with someone else. That if this guy really can't change, let her move on and find happiness with someone else. In this case, SS fans. At some point, when it's just not working, you need to let go of the ship and focus on what's right for the characters.

 

Even when I understand SSers by a past ship experience, I can't understand them further. I'm not the type of person to wish the characters in my ship an unhappy relationship or ignore how a character's desires have shifted just because it's against my pairing preferences. It's just proves you're more about the pairing than the characters and that's what SSers are.

Just saw RTN in theatres today. Boy do I have alot to say

 

First of all, it was subbed not dubbed. Second of all Viz's translation was word for word exactly like the subs that came out when the korean dub of the film first hit the internet

 

Third, alot for the people in the audience were clearly high school freshman or straight out of middle school who went to see the movie with their parents, who ofcourse had no idea what was going on in the story. Also you could feel the awkward atmosphere in the room when the bathouse scene started. They enjoyed the positive message though.

 

Fourth, its very obvious that everyone in the audience were not up to date with the manga and instead have only been keeping up to date with the episodes as Toonami aired them (which is currently on episode 34 of Shippuden I believe)

 

I know because everyone in the audience was getting lost

"Is that red-head his mom?"

"Why is Tobi so serious and barking orders all of the sudden"

"Why is Naruto and Sai on such good terms now"

"Who the hell is Madara?"

"Why is Sakura spending time with Naruto when Sasuke is in the village flirting with her?"

"Why did Naruto's eyelids just turn orange?"

"Jiraiya's dead!?"

 

these were some of the questions I heard people muttering to themselves.

 

What's funny is that I was sitting next to an NH fan who was watching the movie with his parents, the mom asked if Sakura was Naruto's girlfriend, the son replied "No the white-eyed girl is his girlfriend" I would like to point out that at this point we were at the half-way point in the movie and the mother replied with "...are you sure because I don't get that impression at all"

LOL I don't know whether I should laugh or cry at this I guess that is what you get when you put kids and western fandom in the same boat , but bravo for the mom she nailed it I bet the guy was pissed of when she said that  .
