I'd hardly call DBZ "genius", especially when it comes to romance.

The canon ships in Naruto turned out to be not so great, but make no mistake - the characterization in Naruto is miles above dragon ball and always had been.

 

The romance subplot played a more prominent role in Naruto, though. I never felt like DBZ was about the shipping.

Another thing that's forever going to bother me is Sakura and Karin being paralleled when Naruto and Sasuke were dying. Like...it seems like a moment for a couple that becomes canon in the end to have. Sigh....

Sorry but Sasuke was a loner all this time. He doesn't have feeling for anyone (except Naruto). He wanted to kill him for this reason. He said that killing Naruto would make him all alone. Sasuke never have hidden feeling for her. He didn't show any sign of hesitation when he was about to strike Sakura. SS canon is just plain bad writing period. SS fan are wrong to think that Sasuke have hidden feeling. Nothing support this theory. He never blush for Sakura, or even any women. Karin conveniently disappear from the 699-700 chapters. Sakura's reverting in a Sasuke's fan girl is convenient as well so that she wasn't avaible for Naruto. Naruto and Sakura never exchange 1 line of dialog during those 2 chapters. Ino's never tried to get Sasuke (so much for beating Sakura's at romance and Sakura's never comfort Ino for her father's loss or Choji comfort Shikamaru's for his. )

 

Only show Naruto comfort Hinata. Felt too forced and it was just plain bad writting there.

And, I just found out the reason why Choji & Karui got together:

• chouji and karui are together and no one knew why because theyd never interacted. then we realized that karuis name means “light” and their entire marriage and relationship is a fat joke. chouji is fat. his wifes name is “light”. haha fatphobic puns!!!!!

I could write an essay or two on how horribly the story ended. And maybe a story on how much better this story could of ended. Maybe even show how the heck everyone got together. Such bad writing.

Yeah Naruto forget Sakura exist and so she did. Both of them. They never speak to each other once. That make no sense. I don't blame them though. Everything that happen in the last two chapter has happen out of convenience. Solding out at is finest .

You're welcome, once I get over this ending and I finally finish my two school project, I'm gonna make a post with all the NS development in the story and since the last will just filled up how Naruto gets Hinata, I'll use movie as well since it's seem to count. Unless someone beats me to it
