Bad message? I don't know, even putting my preferences aside, I can't see where NaruSaku sends a bad message. Unless you want to count Sakura hitting Naruto, which is only for comedy and really doesn't matter, as much as antis want to say it does. I have heard arguments that NaruSaku is anti-feminist, but that doesn't make any sense to me. Like, how?
 

 
Gah! I can't stand that argument. "Betraying Sasuke" -- please excuse me while I barf. Sasuke doesn't care about Sakura's feelings and whether she loves him or not. He does not care. And besides that, Sakura doesn't owe Sasuke any loyalty since he turned his back on Konoha. Of course, that hasn't stopped her or Naruto from chasing after him, but that's just the kind of people they are. They're loyal to a fault.
 
 But really, how would Sakura be disloyal by giving up a childish love for someone who never felt the same way? Real love isn't one-sided like Sakura chasing after Sasuke with a love that wasn't reciprocated. Naruto and Sakura have build a strong, sincere relationship, from friendship to something more, there's nothing "dishonest" about it or Sakura's feelings. Yeah, she loved Sasuke first, but her relationship with Naruto is deeper and more solid than anything she had with Sasuke.

The person I was talking with said that the bad message being sent was that whole the of "deserving" love. I couldn't help but laugh due to the absurdity of the comment. Falling in love with someone because they love you is apparently wrong, when your childhood crush has tried to murder you. The hypocrisy. The whole "anti-feminist" garbage comes from that scen in 630 where Naruto told Sakura she should rest because she just got done healing him. Naruto shows concern, he's automatically called a chauvinistic, misogynistic pig. Sasuke never shows concern, tries to kill her, berates her, and calls her useless, and he's Prince Charming. What a joke.

I hate that betrayal argument too. Sakura wasn't and wouldn't ever be disloyal to Sasuke if she fell in love with Naruto, if anything she would be betraying herself if she ended up with Sasuke, due to the fact that she has never been treated right by him. The last time Sasuke even complimented her was in the chuunin exams. He's tried to kill her more times than he's ever said anything nice to her, yet she's betraying him? Lol

I personally think the "fairy tale" of NaruHina is a garbage message. It's like if you love someone, no matter what, you'll get him, your dream will become true. You don't have to approach that person, support and understand that person, you just have to love and nothing else matters. When Naruto was a lonely child, Hinata was already interested on him, so why didn't she overcome that shyness and tried to help him? Make him company? Why didn't she try? He suffered so much because he thought no one acknowledged him when someone actually did, but let him suffer . About SS, if Sakura was able to make Sasuke fall in love with her before, it would kind of send a good message of not giving up on someone, but, to fall in love with Sakura now is completely change Sasuke's character and it would send the message that you can change who someone is with persistence and that's also not true. Without mentioning that something we've been talking about soo much. The murder attempts. Of course forgiving is good, but are you really trying to convince us that there's a good course to a relationship like that? That we should just forget what people have done to us because we love them and nothing else matters? Seriously...  I guess everyone knows it's a bad message. 

 

As for NaruSaku message. Well, it's basically like that: If you love someone and it's unrequited, you have two options: giving up or not. If you chose the second one, you can't just wait for things to happen, you must try to build a relationship with that person and do your best to make that person like you, supporting, helping, saving, being always there. You can't forget you must understand that person's feelings, he/she doesn't like you now, so give them thumbs up instead of complain about it, so they will notice (as Sakura did) that you understand them. doing that might increase the possibility of having something on return. 

 

While trying to find some bad thing on the message NS sends, I took the tsundereish being of Sakura. And seriously, I see no problem at all, it's not like she hits him and really hurts him because of that. If she ever did it, she would instantaneously heal him because everyone knows she cares about him.  Actually, they are pretty similar. You can tell if Naruto was a girl, he would be tsundere. But you can see by their hugs and trying to save each other that when it's time to be serious, they do it well. 

 

I found NS bad message: To be happy, you'll probably have to hurt someone at some point of your life, even without intending it. Hinata likes Naruto, but he doesn't like her, to be happy, he'll end up breaking her heart. Things like that happen in life. I'm  sorry, but it's true.

The truth is, on some level Naruto likes it.  He knows what she's like and the way she reacts, and he loves her anyway. He doesn't just love her, he's attracted to her and the way she behaves.  He thinks she's hot, temper and all.
