You're using the word parallel wrong, he didnt made a parallel he compared their stance with their past ones, he saw that they changed a lot.

Some words have more than 1 meaning you know. He wrote the same quote from kakashi "I don't like you" without the "don't". He made a comparison, a parallel between those two times.

I may have been wrong on the parallel definition but it's not the same case for 540, it wasnt a parallel, it's about picking up another person word that has nothing to do with 540.
540 and 689 has no connection whatesover, since he's talking about chapter 4 or 5 if i remember.
he's not judging the events of the war arc, he compared her stance towards Sasuek "not fangirling and wanting to help him" with on the past that she only cared on wanting to be with him and had no will to be a strong ninja.

In short your arguemnt doesnt work as a counter-argument for my post above.

I know it's not the same case, but you were talking about it as if comparing events from distant chapters is stupidity and it's not. I didn't say what he said is right or wrong, just that you too took fast conclusions so you can't complain. You don't know why Kishi wrote that Kakashi thoughts and if he intended or not to somehow relate it to 540. We know they are two ambiguous parts about the same thing: Sakura's feelings towards Sasuke.

I think he means Naruto's  generation, but still i think  Gaara seems he won't be  alone. Naruto being alone yes I like that loving Sakura from distance, the unrequited love of Naruto was one  of the reasons I like NS. Stil i think we talked about in this forum during the RTN time  he will have  a child i do not remember what topic it was, so probably he will not be alone.
