Okay...i gotta be fair here....
We know that Hinata made things worst by sacrificing her life for Naruto by attacking Minato [getting herself blown apart in the process] But Sakura also made things worst when she charged towards the 4 tail Naruto, almost getting herself kill in the process if it wasn't for Yamamato and the guy with glasses [forgot his name lol] and there would be the fact that if Sakura would have died by Naruto's hand, and Naruto realized it...he would have gone 9 tails in an instant.

We saw his reaction when he saw the damage he caused by going 8 1/2 tails.

Changing to another topic...i guess Naruto and Sakura understand that love hurts...which is lol, cuz Naruto gets hit by Sakura a lot, and Sakura...well she is very unlucky when chasing after a boyfriend...

From the people I know who cosplay in the US:

naruhina- teen girls
sasusaku-teen and college age guys and gals
kakasaku-teen and college age gals
narusasu- teen to early 30's gals
narusaku- mid 20's and older men and women

The people I know who are all NaruHina fans are people who think either 1. Hinata's hot 2. Hinata's cute. (Boys and girls, respectively) and only catch glimpses of the anime and most of the filler and never any manga.

It would make sense that the majority of NH/SS fans would be teen girls, because, with respect to the fandoms, most of the time they romanticize everything to an extreme extent and don't bother with anything else, going as far as ignoring any NaruSaku development whatsoever and hating Sakura.

As for SasuNaru... I think we can all agree that the SN fandom is pretty much 99.99% fangirl. KakaSaku... I actually have a friend who ships KakaSaku, and she's the biggest Kakashi fangirl you'll ever meet.

Wow those friends of yours really are in denial.

Now, now... They're NaruHina fans, but they're still my friends. Please take it easy on them.

She didn't cup his face. She hade her hand on the back of his neck buried in his hair. I can understand that you like to see that scene as extremely romantic, and I do, too, but you're over-exaggerating just a little; It's the same as a NaruHina fan claiming that when Hinata confessed that Naruto was looking at her lovingly. Which is far, far from true.

Yes, what is it with them editing those pics and putting Hinata? Then do they think the hug is platonic or not? I mean I even saw some showing Hinata repressing 4-tails Naruto instead I mean I haven't seen any showing editing Sakura in Hinata's place when she jumped in front of Pain.

They say the hug is a sibling hug then go replacing Sakura with Hinata. Then suddenly it's true love. I've seen fanart where Hinata was 5000 timkes stronger than Sakura, Naruto hated Sakura and loved Hinata, Hinata was 5000 times more beautiful than Sakura and Sakura was uglier than sin, just recently I saw a fanart where Sakura asked a mirror who was the most hated in all the kingdom, and you get the point... Maybe they think that enough hate will convince Kishi?

I don't get it, can't they acknowledge that the hug was definitely not platonic, and still like their pairing? I don't like it when some fans insistently deny all evidence of Sakura's feelings for Naruto. I mean, I think none of us here deny that Hinata doesn't have romantic feelings for Naruto. Or even perhaps the time Yamato went "heh, Sakura, just by looking at you, I can tell-" they were so insistent he was talking about a brother-sister relationship/platonic one- fact is, we CAN'T be sure. It MIGHT have been referring to a platonic relationship or a romantic relationship, but fact is there's not enough info to say definitely A is right, B is wrong e.g.

It wouldn't have been cut off if Yamato was going to say "I can tell, you like him as a friend." That's what I think, at least.

Well I'm a girl and yes when I hug my sister we do hug quite closely, and we do hug our FEMALE friends, but my friends don't hug their brothers like that, nor do they hug a male acquaintance like that (close hug, touching hair e.g). Usually it's a looser one, if any, just patting on the back e.g. Such embraces like the one Sakura gave to Naruto have much more intimate connotations, and only people who are couples do that, at least over here.

Even as an American who hasn't had that much exposure to the Asian culture, I can see that's definitelty romantic. I'd never dream to hug a friend like that, touching their neck with my head resting on their shoulder... It was INTENDED to be romantic, thus the close-up, the emphasis, the smiling faces, the loose background, the big bold word bubble, the panel space, the INTIMACY...

And don't forget that in Japanese culture...male and female who are not related by blood...don't hug or show those kind of physical connections, unless there is some real feeling there, and even so, such physical contact are usually kept after marriage.

If Hinata protects Naruto- she's a true hero.

If Sakura protects Naruto- she's just annoying.

If Hinata supports Naruto- she's real cute and deserves Naruto.

If Sakura supports Naruto- she's a dumb b****

If Hinata gets attack by 4 tail Kyuubi Naruto- it's a pro N/H moment.

If Sakura gets attack by 4 tail Kyuubi Naruto- it's anti N/S moment and Naruto hates Sakura.

If Hinata confesses to Naruto- she's very brave and she deserves Naruto no contest.

If Sakura confesses to Naruto- she's a lying manipulative b****.

If Hinata protects Naruto with her life- she's awesome and loves Naruto with all of her heart.

If Sakura protects Naruto with her life- she's an idiot and annoying and she's just loving Naruto because Sasuke isn't with her making Naruto the" silver medal " or the "second place consolation prize "

If Hinata hugs Naruto- it's a romantic hug true love exists.

If Sakura hugs Naruto- it's just a sibling hug she was just hugging him because he's her teammate there was nothing romantic about it.

Well any questions? Then class is dismissed tomorrow we will learn why N/H will become canon in the manga

Only my friends that had no separation between the Anime filler and the manga leaned towards NaruHina and SasuSaku,

I wonder if it is the anime influence.
I got introduced to Naruto when the anime first came on the Cartoon Network. But stopped watching it before the Chunin exams. Forget what Sakura thought... I found Naruto annoying and overly loud. I've watched a few filler episodes since then, and most of them make Naruto look stupid in combat, instead of the clever instinctive fighter we've seen in the manga.

It was the manga that got me hooked on the story, and made me more sympathetic to Naruto.
Someone else, who has watched more of the anime, will have to decide if subtle things are being done to make NaruSaku less... enjoyable.

As an example, in Part I Naruto is walking with Jiraiya for the first time. Naruto is contemplative, asks questions about Akatsuki, and announces that he will need to train harder in order to protect himself. But he does so in a way that impresses Jiraiya. Then the manga goes back to the humor of his Naruto's character: brash, loud, innocent young boy.

In the anime, they decided to add a scene of Naruto stepping in dog poop. I think that encourages people to laugh AT Naruto, instead of WITH him.

In a different thread, I mentioned the scene where (in flashback) Sakura found out that Naruto (and not Sasuke) saved her from Gaara. At first she looks sad at the idea. Then she looks at Naruto, and starts to smile. (And she gets so caught up in thinking about Naruto that she stopped fan-girling Sasuke, even though she was in full mode up to that moment.) Her sad expression shows her initially displeased by being rescued not by Sasuke (genius) but by Naruto (loser and class clown). Her smiling after that is a sign that she likes Naruto anyways, that she enjoys the mix of goofiness and heroism.

In the anime, they didn't show that sad moment, just a quick smile. I think that takes away some of the depth to that scene.

Remember the "date" after the first Naruto Vs. Sasuke fight at the hospital?

Well, in the manga, Sakura was remembering the date via flashback while looking outside her windowstill (Naruto and Sakura was sitting on a bench, he told her about Orochimaru and proclaim that Sasuke won't go to him) and that scene made Sakura happy and blushing. And this happen right before Sasuke left.

While the anime, it was a totally different story of how it turned out. Naruto was depressed, walking around the streets, Sakura was standing near her apartment, asked him to take her out on a date. So they went to Ichiraku and Sakura was beginning to become depressed, even after Naruto cheering her up... the whole date scene was depressing, and Sakura had that worry look while looking at the full moon... the whole scene before her "desperate" confession was full of angst...

I don't know what made the writers go with the angst route back then because I guess they didn't realize that was the actual start of NaruSaku.

I think part of the problem is that the Anime team didn't understand the way that Kishi was portraying the characters in the manga. Thankfully, though, the team has gotten the memos, as is absolutely clear is Shippuden. The biggest problem is that the damage has already been done, so it isn't going to change the current fans, but hopefully it will affect the future viewers, I know for a fact that as a fan that came around long after the initial release that if one becomes totally immersed and ignores fandom, you will get a clearer picture (at least prior to the current arc).

I know about the animators altering or editing moments in the manga to the anime. For example chapter 11 when Zabuza threw his sword at team seven and they dodged it, there's one panel where Sakura pushes Naruto saving him and she landed on top of his back. In the anime it was altered showing the three members of team seven dodging the sword at the same time. I believe there are other moments more besides that one and the Naru/Saku date before Sasuke's defection from Konoha.

They still overplay Sakura's temper, making her seem much more tsundere than Kishimoto does. But they do it for humor and plus the tsundere is a set type. Sakura is more like an early shoujo version of the tsundere where romantic and deep compassion always balances out the temper and strong will. The feisty, passionately romantic girl

And Froot, that is cupping Naruto's face, her fingers were in the hair behind his ears- so no exaggeration. And sorry your friend are in denial, not being harsh, it's the truth, and seriously, unless they think all male/female relationships involve having intimate relationships, sexual flirtations, blushing, wanting to see the other person naked, etc... they know that. You know what Naruto said about people who lie to themselves...

I just recently saw yet another moment edited by the N/H fans, it's none other but the 469 confession where Naruto tells Sakura "I hate people who lie to themselves". It's the same panel from the chapter obviously they changed Sakura with Hinata blushing and Naruto was still having his angry face but he was blushing too he was telling her" I love you Hinata!" and she was the usual" N....Na...Naruto-kun!"

I really laughed when I saw the picture they are obviously doing this since Kishi isn't give them any "material " for their pairing. It also makes me laugh that they edited a panel from a chapter when they have been "claiming " so many times that it was the end of N/S and that Naruto "supposedly rejected Sakura " and yet they used that specific panel from that chapter to make it part of their pairing dreams. I feel sorry for them but I want to ask to all of the Naru/Saku fans from this thread or the forum. Have any of you edited the 437 confession changing Hinata with Sakura or perhaps you know someone who has? .

I would like to know if a N/S fan has edited the chapter of Hinata's fifteen minutes of fame. I'm pretty sure no one has edited that chapter though.

Sakura may still have some feelings for Sasuke but she has strong feelings who are very close to being romantic for Naruto. Kishi said it himself that Naruto is close this proves that N/S still has a lot of development to go before it finally becomes canon. I believe what Kishi is trying to show in this actual arc is to show how much evil Sasuke will become and Sakura finally getting rid of any feelings she may have for him. For that to happen I think Kishi will make Sakura meet Sasuke face to face since the encounter at Orochimaru's hide out but a lot of things has happened ever since that chapter which I believe it was back at ch 309. If Sakura does erase any remaining feelings for Sasuke she will eventually embrace and accept the strong ones she has for Naruto.


Sasuke embracing the darkness forever in revenge and Sakura letting go of any romantic feelings for Sasuke I think that's what Kishi wants to show in this arc.

The face is not the part behind the ears. His face would he his cheeks, lips, nose, eyes, chin, etc, not his neck.
