Damn, I don't think I have ever seen her like this about any series, much less a manga.  What's more, she does not care AT ALL about pairings and says this is a total SNAFU.

I could write an essay or two on how horribly the story ended. And maybe a story on how much better this story could of ended. Maybe even show how the heck everyone got together. Such bad writing.

dont let the manga asspull stain the relationship of narusaku. 2 ass pull chapters made alot the characters look bad not only sakura.

I actually watched it when it was on toonami years ago but dropped it to follow this crap :/ now they're alllllll the way past 700 chapters and I don't want to read it either, or start all over again and then try to differentiate between filler and manga :( I tried fairytail too and I was hooked but stopped only to focus on Naruto because of school work and exams too...but it really wasn't worth it in the end...now they're far up ahead too D:

 

 

*cries* he really kittented on Ino and Sai :( at least get some ideas from your own fans..their fan kids look so perfect D: what the hell??

Naruto's kids don't strike me as shy though..and I think they're twins...Himawari seems more polite and confident whereas Boruto seems more like part 1 Naruto..doing pranks and getting into trouble

Even though NH was always a possibility...Im still disappointed..

Sakura really should have ended up with Naruto though :/ and Lee with Tenten (but I think they're together).

They didn't even have ANY resolution...no POAL reference...no chapter 3 reference...Sakura forgot ALL about her budding feelings for Naruto..it's almost like she used him then completely went back to her part 1 self...and I really hated her in part 1...it's like afterwards she just dropped Naruto and forgot about everything that ever happened between them..

 

I don't even blame Naruto for moving on to Hinata...but it's obvious now that Hinata was a silver medal..

 

and Sasuke...where was he going? o.O that was so odd..

Yeah Naruto forget Sakura exist and so she did. Both of them. They never speak to each other once. That make no sense. I don't blame them though. Everything that happen in the last two chapter has happen out of convenience. Solding out at is finest .

Good review. This part hit me hard:

When you think about it: doesn't that make Naruto's accomplishment even less noteworthy?

You kidding? If you are talking about Goku and Bulma...Goku had no interest...even if Bulma had slight interest. In DBZ Yamcha was cheating on Bulma, it was implied at the beginning of the Saiyan saga. Vegeta was a much better developed character than Yamcha.
 

 
Do not compare the genius of DB and DBZ to...I don't even know what this is anymore.

I'd hardly call DBZ "genius", especially when it comes to romance.

The canon ships in Naruto turned out to be not so great, but make no mistake - the characterization in Naruto is miles above dragon ball and always had been.
