If Sakura's feelings for Sasuke didn't turn her into the mess we see today, I honestly wouldn't mind her loving Sasuke until the end of time. But I don't hate her for loving Sasuke. I question whether or not Kishi has a brain in his head for making her love this guy for this long.

Aikitteneru means selfless love in this context (and can be used between parent and child... and so on). It doesn't mean that Sakura wants to be with Sasuke as a lover.

So its possible that the love she and Kakashi was talking about is more like the love Naruto and Kakashi has for him?

So basically the only thing MS got right was the "confession" being in present tense.
Besides that, instead of Kakashi saying:
"All Sakura wanted just now was to be yours."
He actually says:
"Besides, right now Sakura's wish isn't to make you hers*... she only wants to save you!"
That's quite a difference. Everyone might not have freaked out so much if they'd translated it right.

Aishteru, no matter the context, is the biggest way to say you love someone. And since we know Sakura's feelings are romantic, Kakashi saying aishteru is a huge deal. I'm really surprised at Kishimoto. You can't really go back from that. =/

yes she said that she doesn't want sasuke to be hers (or something), doesnt that mean that she does care for him but not in a romantic way? And even if kakashi meant it like that, it sounds a lot like an assumption to me

What I really dislike is the form of aishteru used. That's not something to say easily or lightly.

If this true then I really see no way of redeeming NS  , that's just to intense  and to make it worse none of it makes sense  how the kitten why does she loves him in the first place for it to be so strong  after all the kitten makes no sense literary . I'm even more convince that Kishimot is insane with his writing.

It would be interesting if that were the case. Though he would probably only support them as a couple just to get them off his back rather than for the sake of their happiness. Sasuke is a solitary loner by nature and could possibly be asexual.

Maybe I am jumping the gun....but Sasuke is not as foolish as he looks. He has already acknowledged Sakura way back in P1 but the fact that he did not show that to her as he did to Naruto is where the problem lies. He'd say that he had already acknowledged Sakura way back in P1 if Sakura, Kakashi or Naruto or that matter come to that point AFTER he is redeemed. This chapter sure was an eye opener, for me atleast...The manga sure is not obvious as it looks. The next chapters are gonna be pretty interesting and surprising....and full of revelations IF things are going the way I think they are....I can be wrong though. If its that way....BRACE YOURSELVES!

Basically, Sakura does love Sasuke romantically, but Kishi's trying to make them appear deeper by having Kakashi say that she's focused more on his well being than him being her "thing". Also by using Aishteru, which usually isnt used by romantic interests until they are together. And even then, Japanese feel weird about saying that. It implies a true, very deep love.

Aishteru can be romantic if the person has romantic feelings. But you would say that in this context only if you were very much in love. 
 

This is why I really hate this chapter. Unless Kishimoto plans on making SS canon, this was a huge huge mistake.

thanks for the effort.  you know. imo  if we took only sakuras  words  i feel it was more to a regret and an apology to sasuke than a confession.   a regret for not understanding him in the past nor caring about his feelings and an apology cause she gave up on him and tried to kill him. and in the past  she wanted him to stay for herself/ selfish and didnt understand him at all .  but now she understood him a little and wants to help him cause she cares about him and want to save him and fix him  as a friend as a family but the same thing is happening again . .thats kinda obvious when she say if there is even a little corner in your heart for me . to me its like she is saying if the old days we spent matters even if its a little .dont go and lets get together again. as team 7

the words  are deep and deceiving . but sakuras angry expression  and her memory about chapter 181.  and kakashis words  are telling me its a family /friend /teammate love . . its wasnt a bad chapter after all.   . and even narutos reaction  to sakura . as if he knew what she meant and agree with her .. . about the family love .  and ss is dead  . for ever .in this manga .

THIS! This combined with the fact that he made Kushina say 'Aishteru' to Naruto......aren't things a bit....telling?
