The reason they skipped over a kitten ton of things in AkG is due to censorship. Shura does some terrible things, and so do the members of the group that he forms, especially the clown. I expected them to censor it, to be honest.

 

Yeah, although they could've kept some of the stuff, don't want to spoil it but they could've included:

• Church fight, where Esdeath realises Tatsumi is actually part of Night Raid
• Also with the church fight we have Susanoo's sacrifice
• Mine/Tatsumi relationship when Mine confesses her feelings finally

 

I'll stop here because I don't want to go off-topic. But it was a pretty gutsy move to do this. Don't know if SP has the guts to rewrite the story from a certain point since they want to keep the anime going.

I wanted to watch Fate/Stay Night but watched original and was totally loving the whole Saber/Shirou thing, though Fate/Stay Night follows the other route in the VN right? That's the only thing stopping me right now, otherwise I would totally be watching (Fate/Stay Night in general is pretty awesome)

I love SaberxShirou, too. Though the animation quality in Fate/ Stay night is meh, the romance was executed wonderfully, if you ask me ^^

Unlimited Bladeworks is focused on Rin and most likely Shirou and Rin will be the focus in there, but you will miss out something SPLENDID if you don't give this anime a chance (it's basically the new Attack on Titan anime right now). I watch this anime simply b/c of the great story line and the awesome fights.

Here's a link to a fight b/w Saber and Lancer. Pls tell me, you still don't want to see this anime b/c Rin and Shirou is prob gonna become cannon. So far, it looks like, Shirou is more romantically interested in Saber though...

Anyways, I'll stop here, b/c I'm going off topic again

Nothing major because it's just some random extra character, but just wanted to point out something interesting, the academy student in the background seems to be wearing similar clothing style/colours as Hinata

It could be, but I think is normal nothing unusual, but that is my opinion.

I know right? Same here. The thing is I'm very sleepy and have slept really crazily these last few days and probably will until I finish the theory, lol. It's somewhere there in the back of my mind at all times,haha!

 

That plus packed with work and stuff you have to do in RL besides work, imagine I am left without enough hours in the day, hehe. I NEED MOAR dammit!   

 

I totally get where you're coming from lol I've slept strangely these past few days too and had to correct it by going straight for about 20 hours. More hours in the day are definitely what we need. The people demand more hours in the day! Someone make that happen!!!

I might wait for the anime to finish, wait for confirmation for the ending and give it a shot (do this with all the anime that have some sort of romantic element, I tend to get really involved in shipping characters lol). Also, don't know if it'll end like this but I think in the video game:

Yep! That's what it is.  We looked through all the clan seals trying to see what it was, and got nothing.

 

It's part of the deliberate ambiguity surrounding Bolt, Himawari and Salada.  

 

Yeah totally agree. A lot of people jumped the conclusion that it was related to the Hyuuga clan symbol. Some more misdirection by Kishi if all this turns out to be true. Furthermore, if this does turn out being true, I think Kishi's next manga should be about a magician or Mentalist. He'd have some first hand experience with this :)

Well.. I don't know what ending we will receive, but we'll see.

My favorite ending is Saber's True Ending in which Saber goes to the Avalon and waits for Shirou. He actually stays loyal to Saber until his death and finally reunites with her in the end. Shirou was able to wait for her, but Naruto...

Yeah if it really turns out NH in the end, then I have no words. I mean usually with a lot of manga/anime, they have the girl that the MC really likes and usually a childhood friend who "genuinely loves" (unlike Hinata in this case) the MC. More often then not, the MC stays true to their feelings gets with the girl "of their dreams" and usually, the childhood friend moves on in a natural, sad but lovely manner.

I think if they really wanted to honour Neji's memory why not call him Neji?

 

Instead, Kishi chose to give him the name Bolt (could be just because he wanted a fresh name for a new era). Bolt is ambiguous in the fact that it could be a nod to Minato or Neji, but if NS is a thing and you wanted to mislead the readers, giving him a name like Bolt added to everything else in the chapter, movie trailer/leaks and all would just enhance people's mindset that NH is actually a thing. That's what I think anyway. I like to hide clues in characters names when I write (I think Christopher Nolan did something similar with Inception)

Nps. By that I meant that things have been tried before by others, through trial and error, has brought about a standard. Now if something is working fine and has been for a while, why go to the effort to try and build something else that does the same thing? Usually it takes a lot of effort and time and it ends up backfiring.

 

So I think that trying to do something "different" with the ending of Naruto was a mistake. Instead, just stick to the general practice. It may not be praised for originality but it will generally be well-received. It's the safer and smarter option most of the time.

Funny when you think about it, that a character that has been in the background for a majority of the series is now suddenly the main heroine. Haha yeah...no

I wonder if this is going to incur any backlash or reprisals from the fans in Japan as a whole. A number of them might be interest in watching the movie for the sake of supporting the series and listening to that Mizuki songstress's voice, but to try and illegitmise Sakura's heroine status and replace her with Hinata (not just in terms of plot relevancy, but outfitting her with the same exact clothes as Sakura and by positioning her next to Naruto)? I hope this movie is an utter failure at the box office.
