last time we see her she was on a ambiguity she saying that she loves him and at the same time saying that she cannot forgive him for trying to kill her.
idk what kishi will do but if she backs to his team and continue with the flirting attempts i wil say that SS is dead and wait for NS to be canon.

What makes Karin a better match for Sasuke is that she's the only girl who isn't afraid to be herself around him. Sakura on the other hand acts way too meek when it comes to confronting Sasuke.

It's true that Karin has (or had) a big infatuation for Sasuke, but she also has the back bone to call him out when he does something stupid. I even remember how she scolded him and called him a weakling straight to his face for almost getting himself killed in his fight against Deidara. Now let me ask you all a question: Do any of you think that Sakura could ever have a relationship with Sasuke where she can scold him just like Karin does? I don't think so.

The reason above is why Karin matches much better with Sasuke. Sakura cares about him, but she could never have that blunt honesty with him.

I would like to add that Karin also somewhat knows Sasuke pain better than Sakura and maybe Naruto. She also lost her village do to war, so she has some understanding of Sasuke pain. Also, the biggest plus for Karin is that when they first meet, Sasuke actually smiled at her, SMILED, and karin has a legit reason for liking him than the other females in the series (especially Sakura).

That Uzumaki part really put her over a lot, because she is now an important character to the team and her heritage really place her above the rest of the team (no Sasuke included). Also, when I said SS is dying, I only saying that because Sakura is the only one grasping that feeling, but she's on the verge of letting it go. I agree that love letter is a wake-up call. It is the first time that questioned her love, so let's see where it's heading to.

Edit: If Karin doesn't know about her background, it will be interesting to see her learning about it. If she knows, then I wonder how everything will go down the line. Nagato doesn't seem to know that he was a Uzumaki, so perhaps Karin is the same. Basically, Karin and Sasuke conflict will be very interesting, especially the buildup right now. And you can't say it's over yet. Karin can start over with a serious tone in her, rather than all flirtation.

She just did that all as an act to get her picture and to make the guards think she was crazy. This allowed her to pull out some equipment from the Sasuke picture...and that's where we left her

On a side note, I ship SasukeXNo one as well, mostly due to my inability to see him in a working relationship ever. I see him as pretty much asexual. Don't see anything that contradicts it.

I still dislike SasuKarin, but if he does end up with anyone ... Karin will be the better choice.

like I said before that is where i would drop it after Karin was taken to Konoha but Kishi plays a trick with us by having her getting out lock picking tools of some kind from a Sasuke picture of all things

In the same chapter have Suigetsu and Juugo have a little talk about Sasuke and Karin




then of course we learn Karin is an Uzumaki



Uniting the Uzumaki with the Uchiha would end the rivalry that started with the sons of the sage of the six paths.

I decided long ago not to argue too much cause the illogical arguments and circular reasoning makes my brain hurt. Still it helps me wake my brain up in the morning

Which is why I can't stay out of the pairing wars for too long. Just love the info that they feed me. Take for guys like The Madara and Okita Sougo, when they get frustrated. They insult the user (me). Things like, "I guess orange is the new international font of sarcasm." Do these guys for one second think that they are exposing themselves in the dark light, representing their fanbase? Of course not. We both witnessed that some of those shipper don't give a damn about Hinata's character growth and wants her to marry the next Hokage than to be the next clan leader. They proclaimed Hanabi is more talented than Hinata And the most disappointing thing about it, is that you had to defend Hinata from her so called loyal fans:omfg:

Judging from all their responses. They are clearly heading back into the stone age. Was Kishi's trolling that series? It seems anxiety is striking that fanbase like a plaque

There's only two problems of NS, sakura did not grow up like the others in this war so i think that something will happen with her, only Naruto can finish this war sakura already shows signals that if naruto says "I love you" she will accept gladly.
but since naruto changed, "his expression" hes more confident of himself when sakura see naruto again i think something will happen between the two.

just to add from the above the stepping on a picture, (as Karin was trying to do to Sasuke's picture) is from Japanese History, after contact with the Europeans traders some japanese people were converted to Christianity at first the Shogun didn't mind this fact but as they became more insular they used a test where people who were suspected to be Christian would have to step on a picture of Christ to prove they were not Christian.

Oda used the same thing during the Fishman Island arc in One Piece.

for the record Karin finds herself unable to step on the picture (though it could be an act)

True confession time...

as long as Shikimaru ends up with Temari I really couldn't care less about any pairings in Naruto...I just like being here and talking about how I interpret the story as I read it....
