What she said was "I'll be standing beside Naruto, holding his hand". She already did this in 615. She also said " I've always chased after you, Naruto. After this war is over, I'll stop chasing you" . She wants to let go of looking up to Naruto and instead wants to stand as an equal to him and support him. So its actually good for NS. She'll finally move on. Not that it would have mattered of course whether she still chased after Naruto or not. Naruto's got his heart set on Sakura since the beginning and its not in his nature to give up.

Well it's already been said that she wanted to be acknowledged as equal. It's been said over and over again. You could still love the guy, but at the same time, you want first thing first and that is keep up the pace at level.

People don't read the situation that the LN put Sakura in in here . Her saying she has "someone else" was a typical way of her turning the guy nicely bc she's a "kind girl"  she didn't wanted to hurt the guy   this is a very common way of rejecting someone you are uncomfortable with it or you just meet  really this is even more evident by her body language  and her speech  you will even notice how uncomfortable she is bc she stutters when she says that and also when she says she's "sorry" .

 

This seems like an assumption without anything backing it up. Kind of remidns me how NH and SS fans tried to explain that Sakura's confession was fake because she was showing the symptoms of lying (not looking at someone directly in the eyes or something like that) We know by 540 she atleast already had someone in mind both the anime and manga imply that its Sasuke. Yet afterwords she says she's over him which is super confusing especially after she was trying to get over him in LOI.

So I've noticed this thread has been rather hostile lately. I've been waiting for posts pertaining to the outcome of the latest naruto chapter! Thought everyone would be cheering instead of dwelling on debates that have/should have been put to bed already. I mean they finally did it, they finally sealed kaguya! Now that the b*tch is out of the way we can look forward to some narusaku goodness....right?  :excited:

 

I'll have to add though, that was a half-assed ending to a really long uneventful fight. I'm glad its over now
