I am totally with you. I hate Hinata more than anything else as well. I can find some traces of Part 1 SS left in myself and imagine Sasuke as a kid at least. Hinata was always deadly annoying and is becoming more and more to the point of making me sick (really, literally). This whole campaign and movie are ruining my faith in humanity through her image alone. I see Hinata's ugly dead eyes when I go to sleep and when I wake up. I would take SS any day rather than NH - at least SS (the image of Part 1 is still there) is part of Team 7 dynamic of three main characters and has a lot of family undertones (we can't deny that Sakura at least spent some time with Sasuke unlike Hinata).

 

Even though I actually blame SS for what we are going through. I am quite sure that Kishi decided to make SS canon, not NH per se, NH was just something that went as a package since he wanted to show Naruto being a father.

That's a little bit to much of forcing SS   sorry but its kitten   and it makes no sens   having spend more time does not equal for dynamic if they don't talk at all (Sakura said it herself ) and the one party degrades the other with insults   . I mean really this is having family undertones ?  Being part of  T7 does not justify it  out of all the parings SS has the least dynamic almost none  and most of it is all negative even P1 .

And yes, I even think that Sasuke has been deformed by the trauma, but with proper treatment he can be reverted to his past self, who was loving and caring. Just like his temper is actually hot, not cold, how he is very passionate and caring in reality - the change in temper\personality is actually a BIG sign of mental disease or post-traumatic disorder. In 95 percent of the manga we don't even see the true Sasuke.

Well its more personal for me for why I can't stand it bc I've had to rescue my cousin twice from a jerk that I once called friend even beat the living kitten out of him and tell to her parents about it  trust me a relationship like that is not pretty  thank good she got out of it and she is a 3 year healthy  relationship and engaged  .

You can't shut an ill person away from society.

What you should definitely know about trauma is that it shapes the actions of a person because it disfigures the person's emotional life, it rampages his or her values. The person is stuck in face of senses of death that he can't comprehend and integrate in his vision of life and he becomes either inner or outer- destructive. The new positive experience is not integrated either, because the person is stuck repeating his trauma over and over again, it is like the time stopped for him.

Yes, we only saw the real Sasuke in flashbacks. I state it.

And from what I see in 700 he is still as traumatized as ever.

Why do you keeping making excuses for sasuke?

There are people in this world who have been dealt a worse blow than sasuke and they don't go around starting wars or trying to kill women.

I am not making excuses for Sasuke. At least I don't see it like that. But I am trying to understand him instead of staring at him in disbelief. I am trying to find sense in what Kishi does, because it is an honest way to work with the piece of literature.

It is like saying that if you're depressed just snap out of it. Some forms of depression can only be treated my medicine, because they have origins in brain functioning. You don't always have a choice.

I'm not sure there are worse situations than seeing your whole family and clan butchered before your eyes by your own brother when you are a little kid, but ok. What if I tell you that some people can be seriously traumatized by seeing a dog being killed by a car or a person jumping off the bridge when there is nothing they can do? There are no situations bad enough or not bad enough.

 

Yeah, if we could please end this discussion, I would be glad.

Your response really doesn't justify SS  abuse relationship his P1 self wasn't psycho and was capable of feeling emotions but still was an ass  furthermore Sakura was never the one to "heal" him nor he desired such a thing from her ,  and those cases are not the same as what we were discussing  especially the bolded you can't compare this case with those they are very much different the analogy is not fitting . But Like I said out of respect from Chatte and this thread I'll stop this .

The funny thing is that I don't have a stand on SasuSaku, I don't like SasuSaku, I abandoned SasuSaku in the middle of Part 1 and I never looked back, I was raging more than anyone else after 693 and I HATED SasuSaku ending and I don't like Sasuke's character.

Yep SP made the Tokyo Ghoul anime and literally destroyed it that's why the author through massive shade at them in his last chapter. Well that's my theory but I think everyone in the TG fandom thinks the same. They're still getting a second season though.

This wasn't SP but it caught me off guard, Akame ga Kill! Without spoiling anything, last episode just totally skipped all chapters until the latest one and changed a few important (or at least imo they were) things. Was quite a shock tbh. I'm still shocked.

 

Also, don't know if anyone said it or thinks the same, but I think the symbol on Bolt's back resembles a bolt (at the least the head of a bolt)

Haha, i used to be a SasuSaku shipper when I was a lot younger (I'm very embarrassed to admit this) simply b/c it "looked" nice. - please, don't try to make me justify this even further, b/c I really only had stupid reasons to ship them.

I HATE SasuSaku with a passion, too. The only thing I hate more than this couple right now is the attention Hinata gets (not Hinata herself, I don't really give a kitten about her). It's great that you are trying to understand what the hell Kishi was thinking with SasuSaku, but I gave up making any sense out of these couples. When it comes to SasuSaku, people in here don't want to understand SasuSaku beyond the obvious characteristics: abuse, neglectment, etc.etc. 

I could talk more about this, but let's just stop talking about it here, and wait for a new thread to open in which we can discuss this w/out getting attacked

I heard it about it. I haven't read the manga and still need to catch up with the anime, but from what I've heard thx to Forneverworld and Sawyer7mage, the animators really kittened up this scenario.

Go and watch Fate/ Stay Night- Unlimited Bladeworks! Everything has been on point so far, and the animation quality is superb! Great female characters (Saber!!!!), and everyone of them is badass- even though Sakura reminds me of Hinata in there...

The reason they skipped over a kitten ton of things in AkG is due to censorship. Shura does some terrible things, and so do the members of the group that he forms, especially the clown. I expected them to censor it, to be honest.

I wanted to watch Fate/Stay Night but watched original and was totally loving the whole Saber/Shirou thing, though Fate/Stay Night follows the other route in the VN right? That's the only thing stopping me right now, otherwise I would totally be watching (Fate/Stay Night in general is pretty awesome)

Yep! That's what it is.  We looked through all the clan seals trying to see what it was, and got nothing.

 

It's part of the deliberate ambiguity surrounding Bolt, Himawari and Salada.
