You know, the thread title bugs me a bit. I do not think it can or must be said we -or someone else- will win or lose. This isn't a war or a sports match. Thus, the idea of we "lose"... There is nothing to lose. We are right or wrong about an aspect of a history and its outcome. That is all.

This said, if we are wrong and NS doesn't become canon, I'll shrug off and move on. I guess I will be a tad sad and maybe somewhat surprised, but I'll get over it.

I think you might just be thinking about this topic too seriously. Of course many people are going to be mega disappointed and sad, but I doubt someone will actually go after Kishi at gunpoint to make him change who he's shipping. It's all in good fun.

Now that I think about it after a while, the only way we can lose is if Kishi provides a ton of development for NaruHina or SasuSaku or etc. Any other way, we win regardless. How is that?

Simple. We win because we fight on the side of logic. If Kishi defies logic, that's him "losing", not us (so to speak).

If NaruSaku lose I might cry, I mean not only will I believe that the show is bad, but I have spent like 10,000 hours watching videos and other stuff all around NS. so yeah, grrrr! rawr.gif

Lol everybody goes to this topic, because of that one pannel:p But to stay on the topic. If we lose i wil be dissapointed.But there is nothing you can change about it. kitten happens sleep.gif But life goes on wink.gif But im stil positive in narusaku. Sure i wouldn't give up on the series but really the thought scares me does it scare you?

If we lose, we lose. That's it. Doesn't mean we still can't appreciate the pairing. When Code Geass ended, I was annoyed that Lelouch and Kallen didn't hook up, but have managed to read some fanfics which give far better attention to the couple. The same goes with Naruto and Sakura.

Win? Lose? I dont think so

This manga is not a pairing competition, this not Hinata's love story, this not Sakura's or Sasuke's. Its Naruto's story. He is the main hero who wanted to be Hokage, save the world, bring the peace, save his beloved friend and gain the love of the girl he loves. And the story tells how he earns each of those goals.

I dont see the point of make a shonen where the main hero doesn't get anything he wanted. Yeah, included the hard girl.

Well, technically, one of Naruto's goals regarding to Sakura is to pretty much make her happy no matter what the cost is, even if he thinks that she does not end up with him.

Naruto has never thought of Sakura as some trophy to be won, the only thing he's been trying to win from her is recognition, which both of them have wanted, and Sakura has done that countless times for Naruto and the same back. It's been a given since chapter three of the manga that Naruto loves Sakura, but he's always made sure they don't overshadow is respect for her, Sakura comes first, and if she's happy with Sasuke, so be it, but deep down Naruto really wants Sakura to return his feelings, and although we've seen that in some recent chapters, it's kinda hard to explain your feelings during a war, that will come afterwards. happy.gif
