Well, what was being said can be read with different lights, as has been do in this topic for 14 pages. But the text plus the images looks really messed up...

No matter how it's taken, what is being said would hardly qualify as a confession of Sakura's true feelings. As you pointed out, this does tally up with the expressions on their faces.

Only one spoiler picture, huh? Does anyone know when the next chapter is coming out? I'm not that updated that much since I had my exams.

Anyway, we'll just have to wait and see. I actually understand why Naruto would think Sakura would be lying, or forcing herself to say that she loves him. For me, the reason why Naruto is bringing back Sasuke, is first, to complete the POAL that he gave Sakura, second, for Team 7 ... and his brotherhood/friendship with Sasuke, and third, he thinks that Sakura does love Sasuke, because when he committed himself to the POAL, he said that Sakura loves/cares for Sasuke very much, right?

I'm not using SasuSaku arguments here, but the reason why POAL is leaning towards NaruSaku is because, as we all know, Naruto sacrificed himself, and is doing everything in his power to fullfill that promise. All Sakura needs to do is prove that she really loves Naruto with all her heart, which of course, is already obvious. Naruto isn't just that fast in catching up.

I love how Kakashi and Yamato fit in all of this.

I don't believe the fandom will be in a twist. I believe the shippers will be. The next chapter could make or break 3 shipping groups.

Yeah, as I said in my edit, we lack a bunch of the pages on the left side of the manga. But we usually don't get that many either...

The more i look at the Translated script and the Pictures i see more flaws

The main one is that in the script Naruto Speaks First
In the pics Sakura Speaks First

Also the facial Expressiosn dont match a confession there is no tears and sakura always cries during any kind of emotional speech

I think the shocked recation of Naruto is Sakura telling him the Plan

Then Naruto tries to get her to change her mind

I wonder if the parts when she talks about Sasuke are the panels where she shows little emotion. That could explain alot, since a few fans found blushes that I didn't notice on other panels.

So as others have been saying, she's telling the truth about loving Naruto, but lying about Sasuke. And I'm sure she's been thinking about how to do this confession since before they left Konoha, so that's probably why it sounds robotic or w/e.

Yes. I can read enough Japanese that the blushes are when she talks about being in love with Naruto. Kishimoto has the scene either draw away from seeing her face or she has that nervous expression with the fake smile when she talks about Sasuke meaning nothing to her anymore. Naruto's strong disbelief makes her anxiety jump even higher so even expressing the part that is totally true- her feelings for Naruto is becoming an emotional strain. Thus the line denigrating herself- it's what Japanese woman are taught to do in tense situations to try to defuse it, Sakura has done it before, but the fact she does it to Naruto shows how emotionally painful his angry reaction is to her.

NaruSaku has a lot of prowess, why? because they overcome challenges. A relationship built from the bottom up, of course it will find some rocky ground, but that's what so great about it, and a little drama doesn't hurt anyone.

Hm, I can't really tell much from their expressions myself. Kakashi looks serious I guess. Sai looks..normal. Kiba does look ticked off, but he does for a lot of panels XD Lee is blushing and covered by a finger so I can't tell. Yamato looks worried, but then again Yamato was the one who wanted to interfere. I am really curious to what Kakashi might think of this. I kinda bet that Kiba will spill the beans on the whole rookie plan by the next chapter, because Sakura can't bring herself to say it.

Likely. The flashback we see of Kiba's appears to be of what he saw of Sakura's reaction to the group's decision about Sasuke. He expressed doubts about letting Sakura be the one to tell Naruto because of the bond they both have to Sasuke. Kiba is brash and impatient so yeah, he's going to burst out with something more than likely. Naruto's emotions are already running pretty high it could degenerate into a skuffle between Kiba and Naruto.

Lee probably would have been the best choice to deliver the decision about Sasuke, he seemed kind of ambivalent in his body language in the decision panels, but could have delivered the news in a calm tone.

I've been a member for just over a year now and I do post on and off on the spoilers thread, that does not make me a troll, get your facts straight before you insult someone...just because you don't agree with someon does not make them a troll....I might support NaruSaku pairing but i'm not going to look at everything through cherry blossom tinted lenses.

My points were perfectly valid. As a far Naruto knows Sakura was in love with Sasuke the last time he saw her, which was in real time 24/48 hours ago. She broke down infront of him, maybe you'll remember Naruto offering himself to the cloud nin afterward as a punching bag if you forgot that tidbit. That clearly shows she still cares deeply for Sasuke. (Why i'll never know, still stick by the 'in love with the dream not the reality of the person') And now the next time they meet she is confessing her love for him, but also telling him to give up on retrieving Sasuke and possably even the decision by the Konoha 11 to take him out to avert war, anyone is going to find it hard to believe, specially Naruto who has grown up with very little love, being told by the person who you've been chasing for years suddenly say they return the feelings is going to seem surreal and hard to believe. (also remember Naruto doesn't read the Manga so he hasn't seen the scenes showing how Sakura's feelings are changing)

As for Sakura, don't believe she's come to the realisation that she truelly loves Naruto, she's been made to realise by Sai how much her promise hurt Naruto and how everyone except her can see how much he loves her, Both Sai and Yamoto have seen it in the time they've spent with them and Sai has to learn about emotions through books. At this moment she's talking more with her mind instead of her heart, that's why her confession sounds forced and fake. Even if she truelly loves Naruto Her head has not caught up with her heart yet, she knows she loves him as her best friend and teamate, and to some level he's more important to her than Sasuke is but she's not thought of him in the romantic sense before. She needs time to see things clearly, without being told how she is hurting Naruto or how it's been decided by everyone else to take out Sasuke. Maybe Naruto rejecting her will make her realise that and take a closer look at herself, or it will take meeting up with Sasuke for her true feelings for Naruto to come forward.

This is as other have said a stepping stone, now that she's considered the possability of Naruto as something other than a friend they'll hopefully move forward and actually fall in love with each other. If the situation actually gets resolved now then it's pretty much confirming the manga is coming to an end.

Welp. I guess we'll see, her words do seem to be out of character and forced. It kind of grossed me out when I was reading the dialogue... kiiiiind of happy Naruto stopped her in all honesty. I think she's confused, and all of this happened so fast and she's just trying to do the best thing for her village. But whatevs, I'll wait to see how this chapter ends up and then form my full opinion of it.

Sakura I believe was genuine about her feelings, but trying to strip him of the force (pain) that motivates him to become stronger was badly timed on her part. It was a bit selfish on her part, and Naruto saw right through it.

I think, she really wanted to tell him about the decision of Konohagakure to eliminate Sasuke. But somewhere in between, when she told him to forget the POAL, because she didn't wanted to tell him straight up to cause him further pain. The thing is, this is the first time that Sakura actually confesses to someone she likes and likes her back, so she didn't knew how to react.
