When I continue to think about this, the more awful it sounds. I know all this is because Kishimoto turned Sasuke into a dang purty sue. I t doesn't matter that he did do wrong things like kill cloud ninja and samurai, aided Akatsuki, in which his efforts helped start the war. All that's focused on is that he's the victim of bad circumstances. His wrong doings are because of these bad circumstances, and as such, he himself is absolved from blame. However, that is saying no one is responsible for their actions. However, Naruto is the foil. He grew up with the same if not worse circumstances than Sasuke. He had every reason to go down the dark path too, but thanks to the people he knew and made friends with, he kept away from doing the wrong things.
Anyway, it's because Sasuke is apparently not responsible for his actions that it makes Sakura look bad for moving on. He was just going through some issues and wasn't himself, according Kishimoto's logic. However, no matter what influence or issues, your actions can't be taken back. For example, if I raped someone because I "loved her so much", I have to be held responsible for that because no matter my reasons, what I did was unacceptable. Should I really be forgiven for emotionally traumatizing a women because of twisted desire? That even if I repent, that the girl would be terrible for leaving me because I was in a dark place at the time? I sincerely hope Kishimoto was just talking off the top of his head, because his ideals are frightening if he meant that.
