This new chapterrrrr. 

 

I like bird guy. He stole my heart in this chapter. I'm so happy for Midorya! And as for Shouto...I have this headcanon where it's actually him who's gonna become a villain and Katsuki will end up becoming the hero who'll save him. Idk, he just gives me more villain vibes than Kacchan. Kacchan is just an *ss.  

 

Shouto = Sasuke/Zuko. Bakugou is his own character to me.

Not gonna lie, Shouto might become my favorite character. I love his design (he reminds me of someone from Haikyuu!) and his calm and rational personality. Plus, I've said it once, and I'll say it again: I'm a sucker for guys with ice abilities (guess who is my favorite male character in Bleach XD) But I'm intrigued about this power he can't control for some reason.

I KNOW SHE'S MY FAVORITE!!! I drew a picture of her but I failed-

I honestly hate Ochako's haircut. It looks so weird >.< But her sweet personality makes up for it

Ahaha yeah I draw when I'm not being lazy  ....But yeah I'm not a fan of Ochako's hair either. It doesn't bother me that bad though. I kind of wish she was blonde. I feel like it would match her better.  

 

Also I'm wondering how Yuuga is ever gonna get...well...upgraded. He can only shoot things from his pelvis!

Imao, when I first saw Ochako's color scheme, I was kind of disappointed. Brown hair and brown eyes- it doesn't look unique enough to me. He could have at least given her different eye colors. Imagine when Boku no Hero will get animated (b/c it will one day; i'm damn sure it will)... Ochako's only striking trait is her weird haircut. But Hatsume Mei (I love that name btw) is wonderful.

Imao, I had to think for a while who Yuuga is. That laserbeam still cracks me up though   I feel like he is just there for comedic purposes though...

Yeah I agree with you! Hmm I gotta say  love the fanarts of Mei and Ochako. Pix you're a pretty talented artist keep up the great work. 

 

 

btw I'm actually also drawing my own fanart on Boku No Hero as well. I'll probably post it later tonight or tomorrow morning.

 

 

lol Whenever I see Mei's equipment I just crack up because it's comical. I may've asked this question before, but what do you guys think the final round is gonna be?

 

After giving some thought into it, I think it'll be like a 1v1 battle going on. Somehow I see Deku squaring off against either Ida or Deku that to me seems like the most reasonable thing assuming this final round is a 1v1 to say the least.

That's good news. Super hero theme is strong in USA, so if promoted and done right (mainly anime), it can boost a lot.

Yup I just couldn't believe it when I saw the article, and you've got a point about the super-hero theme being strong in the USA I mean the Marvel Cinematic Universe is already making people go nuts with Age of Ultron.  I bet Viz Media knew about the super hero genre's popularity here in the US and since My Hero Academia is a super hero genre that's currently popular in japan it was smart to bring it over here.

 

 

The thing I find fascinating about the volumes coming this soon is that My Hero Academia so far has a total of 30 chapters and it just started I think late summer of last year. So when you look at it in the grand scheme of things it's pretty crazy to imagine.

Yeah I just think Ochako's hero form is so horrid. Idk, but overall as a character I love her so much! And as for Deku, I think that's what the author was trying to go for. A new superman. But the issue with Deku is that he's still very weak. It's actually a good thing though. I like how he's showing his wits more so than his powers right now. That can come in handy in later battles where we'll be wondering how he got himself out of a particular situation.  

 

With Naruto it was always Talk no Jutsu, but with Deku he can easily use his brains to get around his problems.

I'm excited to see your artwork! And thank you! That means a lot to me! I still get embarrassed showing my artwork haha.  

 

And absolutely 1v1. It's a tournament, you have to have a good ol' one on one. If anything, I don't want to see Kacchan v. Deku. Maybe Ochako v. Kacchan, but for right now, since Deku nor Kacchan have really been developed, they shouldn't go all out just yet. 

 

That's good news. Super hero theme is strong in USA, so if promoted and done right (mainly anime), it can boost a lot.

It's gonna be big. The American influence inside of the story is already a huge factor. If anything, All Might is going to become an icon over here. I can already see it: Hero Academy live action Hollywood movie. (If that's a good or bad thing, I don't know...)

She is very cute and innocent. Her motivation for working so hard to repay and help out her parents- It's something I can relate to.

Deku's character is definitely deviating from the standard Shounen character. That is what makes him so interesting. I just hope that very soon we get to see him actually fight and use his wits at the same time. Yes, I'm impatient and am eager to see Deku in his SuperMan modus XD

I'm honestly very eager as well. I haven't read a manga that gives me such a thrill like this since HxH. I remember staying up till 5 am reading the Chimera ant arc. Now I'm waiting every week just to know what's going to happen next with Deku and pals!

I haven't read HxH yet... I'm afraid to fall into this endless pitfall after I am reaching that most recent chapter. I'll prob start the anime first after having finished FMAB.

HxH is one of those stories that won't get out of your head weeks after you've caught up to it. It's also one of those stories that can literally go on forever because it has no end goal. How are these two possible together? Idk. But HxH will show you how.  

 

Till this day, I'd say that my top 3 mangas are Sun Ken Rock, Oyasumi Punpun, and Hunter x Hunter. Trust me, it's up there for a reason. I personally find Tokyo Ghoul pale in comparison, and HxH was supposed to be a d*mn kids show.  

 

But back to Boku No Hero Academia. The way it's written now, I wouldn't be surprised if it made me forget Naruto completely. Then there will be a new Heaven and Earth except with Deku and Ochako (Deko). And our arch nemesis will be Deku and Hatsume (Misume). And the number one yaoi ship will be Kacchan and Eijirou (Karou). Then the forums ensue. And then the pairing forums/shrines/blogs....

 

yep this is a masterpiece in the making.
