I don't know if this might be of any help but Kishi says he'll be writing extra Naruto chapters next spring. Not sure if it's Part 3 or another one.

kishimoto already told in an old interview that he feels embarrassed with romance, so this doesn't prove anything. Just like the a big amount of jap people. Romance in japan is still considered a tabu, especially manifesting those feelings in public.

 

No kittenin' way that he has drawn NS in a platonic way. The scenes he drew don't say so. No 'brother' blushes for the 'sister', no sister comes to hug 'his brother' in public, none of these things should be considered as platonic, at least at that time.
Simply Kishimoto has played with the uncertainty of couples, providing clues here and there. Then, at some point in history, he took his final decision. I'm sure it's happened between December 2013 and springtime 2014, maybe after he have seen the numbers of volume 64's sold copies. Because the WSJ announced in december 2013 that in following months there would be some information about the new movie. Usually when they do that it means the movie was about to go into production.

True, but then we also have to take into consideration the contents of the 4th Databook. It couldn't have been in production for no more than a few months at best (that's being generous with the amount of time as well). It would have given Kishi all of the necessary elbow room to insert a comment in Naruto's profile about Hinata or to describe how his feelings for Sakura are not the same as they were before. One would assume that if Kishi actually intended to end with NH/SS back in the early months of the year that he would have adjusted the information to better suit this possibility.

Considering the fact that right now the japanese are on board with what happened, I wonder if any japanese will start speculating too. It would be interesting to see what they have to say.

Its confirmed that Kishi himself is writing Part 3.Greedy bastard.No wonder the epilogue looked like an advertisement.

When did you decide how to end “Naruto”?
 
 
Kishimoto: Since the work was first serialized, I have been determined to end the manga series with the battle between protagonist Naruto and Sasuke, who has been his rival since the start of the story. I later decided on the details, little by little, such as whether they would fight each other as friends or enemies, their feelings and dialogues, while I was drawing the series. Around two years ago, I began to feel the story was approaching the finale.
 
When the series started, the editor responsible for my work told me, “Continue the series for at least five years.” The tough work of continuing to draw “Naruto” for the weekly magazine occasionally made me think that I would like to finish the series. I did not think “Naruto” would last for 15 years.
 
The story lasted for such a long period because the characters “stuck it out.” When I attempted to quickly offer an answer (to issues raised in the story), the characters did not allow me to do so. If I had made them act as I wished, the reality would have been lost.
 
Because manga artists are always working inside rooms, it is difficult for us to see firsthand if our works are really popular. It was not until I received many fan letters from overseas that I realized (“Naruto” is) popular outside Japan. Some of those letters are written in languages I do not know, so I understand that my work is read by people in various countries.

I know this is going to sound really, really stupid and like I'm in total denial but I don't think Naruto and Hinata are together and I don't think they were ever together. I know, I know, it sounds impossible, implausible. But I re-read the chapter and I thought it was really strange that they made no direct mention of who Sakura's husband is (though Salada called her mum and has black hair, but for now, let's push that to the side) and when Bolt came home and said "Mum! I'm home!" they made sure not to not give away how the place looked like inside and who his mother was, he also spoke about "Aunt Ino" (since when were Hinata and Ino that close?). Furthermore when Salada gets home, they only show the entryway as well. Naruto has no direct contact/mention with his wife or with Hinata's kid. I know the weird thing is that Bolt and Hinata's kid (can't remember the girls name) both have whiskers but what if Hinata gets the Kyubbi sealed in her in the Last movie? Also, with the part 3 announcement, isn't only Bolt with Naruto?

 

This all sounds strange and implausible but after reading about the narrative feint, I really truly believe that this isn't all as it seems.

 

EDIT: Furthermore, I think that Naruto and Sakura are looking after Salada as a favour for Sasuke and that Karin is the mother.
