the semester for me starts on Thursday. My college starts school on Wednesday, but I only have Tuesday and Thursday classes.

Hm, ok then. I can't wait to see it!

Yeah, a lot of magazines, such as shonen jump (where op is published in) seem to be taking scheduled breaks. I don't know the specific dates though.

season 2

yeah, that's what I was thinking. Although, I'm not too enlightened on which studios are good...all I know is that sp is kitten lol

Season 2

Bad studios in my opinion: SP (self-explanatory) and Toei (apparently from what I've heard, they really kitten up One Piece sometimes). Unless those two studios put money and effort in such as a movie, the quality can suck badass. I'm not saying that all of their animes suck, but I just don' trust them anymore.

A1 is pretty good as you've seen with SAO- personally, I just don't like their art too much.

Ufotable is my favorite animation studio. If that studio animated TG...

 

 

 

Tokyo Ghoul

I was actually thinking that it would come to that for Touka and Akira man the conversations they'd have would be just wow. If that scene/moment actually happens in the manga I'm gonna get a good laugh, the foreshadow door has now opened in Tokyo Ghoul:re. Hopefully if we do see moments between Touka and Akira it's not too far away I'd probably say a maybe 3-5 chapters after her and Sasaki talk with one another/hangout whenver that'll happen.

Lol if it comes to that I'll let you try ranting to Ishida about it first, and if things don't work out I'll just make my introduction with this playing in my car:

I just saw the spoilers for Tokyo Ghoul Season 2 and it looks really really interesting and is getting me excited. I was getting the feels when i saw the picture you just shared, that moment is coming I'm not sure how to take it in.

Patience is really necessary in :re. I remember how patient I was for Naruto each and every week- that waiting was a waste of time on my part *sigh*. Anyways, Touka and Akira will have a "special" connection later on. You know why? B/c of their guys. Akira will most likely later on be torn apart b/w what is right and wrong when she sees Amon again who has now most likely become a half-ghoul. She still loves him as her we've seen in the car. She's strong on the outside, but inside she can be weak...

Ah, I love that soundtrack from Bleach!!! I swear, Bleach has some kickass music ^_^ Anime music in general is really addicting.

Yes! Now that I've gotten over my initial disappointment with the anime not following the Aogiri Arc as in the manga, I think this type of original story can get really interesting. Best to treat this anime like you would do with Part 3 of Naruto: Best to disregard your feelings for the Aogiri Arc in the Manga.

It's possible that Amon is really strong, I'd think a fight would be epic between them. It's probable that he fed off ghouls, unless aogiri forced him to eat humans. 

 

Oda did say the story has that much time left on it. It doesn't matter to me how long it takes, I'd follow it till the end. 

 

Who does Ufotable animate?

I'm excited for Season 2. For some reason, I think, the way this anime will turn out, might decide whether or not it will get a readaptation in the future similar to HunterxHunter 2011 and FMA Brotherhood.

I just saw the Japanese manga sales from last week, and I gotta say, I'm very satisfied with how well TG is selling. I'm not expecting any gigantic number you know, but rather a number that looks promising.

Not many fans have picked up on it yet, but besides the fact that one-eyed ghouls are special, right-eyed and left-eyed ghouls seem to differ in their qualities. I initially thought that natural one-eyed ghouls have their Kakugan on the right eye, but that can't be true b/c of the twins: Nashiro, the white-haired girl, has her Kakugan on the right eye.

I wonder what Takara wanted to do with Kaneki...

Okay, I might just be talking out of my ass here but…

Remember when Ishida sketched this in October for the event which announced season 2 and :Re?

And how everyone was trying to figure out what was going on the left side of the picture?  IIRC, people came to the conclusion that that was Ayato because of the earring, among other things.  And that the second person from the left had to be kaneki because of the finger cracking, but no one was quite sure what to make of the image.  Especially because we were all trying to figure out how the left side of the illustration had anything to do with :Re, and why Ayato and Kaneki would be posing next to each other.

With the recent spoilers about Kaneki joining Aogiri in √A, I think we may finally have proper context for this image, especially since the illustration is supposed to be for both the second season and :re.

That does seem like a really really strong personality cause the series does feel like it's going into its' own little direction as far as anime goes to say the least. Give or take like a few years from now, maybe longer if we're estimating how long it'll take.


btw, Ria officially caught up with Tokyo Ghoul and with :re yesterday. Her intial reaction the ending of Tokyo Ghoul was "Seriously? Did it really just end like that, ISHIDA YOU TROLL!! I HATE YOU! !  "  it took a couple minutes for her ranting to cool down before I reminded her about re and she read that then said "I'm sorry Ishida senpai I love you again will you please forgive me?? ​ " She was saying this to me while we were finishing up Scene 6 before we posted it last night. It really made me laugh for a while , and like us she's really hoping that Sasaki remembering everything doesn't take long, and that Touka and Akira have the moments that we've mentioned for a while. Which if you check on in Our Take on The last thread, Scene 6 is finally there. Ria also likes the unique of Sasaki/Kaneki's hair how it's like a mix between his old look and his new look, it was very unique to her and she loved it. I'll tell you this she was so happy when she saw Touka again which I don't blame her, we all love Touka. 

Yeah I'm glad it's a reasonable number otherwise it would be like woah that's kinda ridiculous for where it stands at the moment. Apparently Forenverworld got all the japanese volumes of TG while he was in New York that lucky bastard... Why is it taking so long for volume 1 to come out here in the US?

I absolutely agree about your cousin. I'm glad that she is now a fan of TG b/c she will now read some quality manga. I can't hate Touka. She's just the type of badass female girl that I love to see in mangas.

It's so true though, like what you said earlier like if you hadn't told meabout re then I would've probably reacted the same Ria did, but because I knew going into it that there was a continuation I knew there was nothing to worry about when it comes to the ending of TG.

The way they reacted was one of the reasons why I avoided TG first. When you go back and google some older threads, you'll see how bad the ending really got the fans. Some didn't want to continue :re if Sasaki hadn't been Kaneki.

Btw, I don't know if you've ever read that before, but there has been a theory going around that said that Touka's mother might have been Yomo's odler sister. I really think that might be true tbh. The haircut from both girls looks the same to me. Also, there is this page:

Yomo is talking to someone who said he couldn't protect his sister. Is that Touka's father Ayato maybe?

 

 

A talk b/w me and Forneverworld would have easily escalated into a fight b/c I would not be able to stop talking about that rant video he uploaded XD But I thank him for having gotten me into TG.

I've seen/heard everyone's reaction before it was confirmed that we were getting a sequel, and I was kinda hesitant about it at first because of that, somehow it just slipped my mind when it came to Tokyo Ghoul I wonder how? Oh wait Naruto, duh of course, something I do regret at least when it comes the ending of that series but we both know it's been talked about to death at this point.

Now that I'm looking at the image I can see what you mean and honestly this seems like a very strong possibility of occurring in the story. Speaking of :re any updates on when chapter 12 should be coming out?

It was about the thing for me too, I remember the day the chapters came out I took my math test and it wasn't pretty. I was lucky to get the chance in raising my grade with the last two exams. I got to thank Boku No Hero for that actually since I didn't get into TG until after the fall semester was over. It was pretty concidential to get the whole Sasaki is Kaneki and Touka returning to the picture as well. Like you said it was a great way for us to catch up.

I couldn't have said it any better myself when it comes to the rant videos at least between me and Forneverworld. I know to never stoop myself to that low of a level.

It was about the thing for me too, I remember the day the chapters came out I took my math test and it wasn't pretty. I was lucky to get the chance in raising my grade with the last two exams. I got to thank Boku No Hero for that actually since I didn't get into TG until after the fall semester was over. It was pretty concidential to get the whole Sasaki is Kaneki and Touka returning to the picture as well. Like you said it was a great way for us to catch up.

I couldn't have said it any better myself when it comes to the rant videos at least between me and Forneverworld. I know to never stoop myself to that low of a level.

Lol, I don't think you need to rush at all. So far you haven't announced on your channel that you are reading TG, am I right? There's no time pressure unless it is important to you to get this comparison video done before the first episode. Apparently Ch.71 - Ch.75 will be completely animated with some slight changes. I'm still a little bit unsure about the time the episode comes out. If it's Thursday, that's good b/c I only have one class on that day.
