I thought that this chapter was great. I loved Sakura's line about not being surprised anymore and that she was tired of it, absolutely hilarious. I thought it was completely awesome and hilarious for the Kurama and Naruto scene together and how Hagoromo always wanted this for Kurama. Then Sakura's smile to Naurto when Hagoromo was talking about him.But what truly hit me right in the feels was definitely the interaction between Naruto and Minato. So sad and heartfelt. I can not wait to find out what happens next chapter.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Kishi said in some interview that he likes to write in such a way as to confuse his readers? Maybe that's why he made Naruto pause since he doesn't want to spoil the confession Naruto plans to do towards Sakura.

 

Besides, if Naruto was going to just change his mind for Hinata what would've been the point of Kushina's foreshadowing? Not to mention Kakashi's little dialogue in 675 about Sakura's feelings changing. I don't think it can be interpreted as Sakura's feelings for Sasuke "maturing" despite was takl from NF said.

 

Then again I don't know jack of japanese and ever since I heard that Kishi likes to be vague and confuse his audience it makes me wonder if he really does likes to write about romance in a confusing way to keep the audience guessing.

well, i doubt that he torn between Sakura and Hinata. otherwise she shouldn't have said that he will give his best.... Why? Because Hinata isn't a complication since she always loved her. While Sakura.... ell... it's a renown story...

Agreed. If he were planning on going against what his mom asked and going for a girl with a personality opposite that of his mom's, he wouldn't have said, "I'm working on it" or "I'm giving it my best."

If they had gotten together offscreen before the war, Sakura would be a terrible girlfriend-Thinking to herself that Sasuke doesn't care that she's hurt or not noticing Naruto wasn't with Sasuke last chapter.

 

You seem to forget I ship NaruSaku? Or do you think anyone who doesn't think Naruto and Sakura are engaged already is somehow a nh shipper?

About this so called war,i can't stand to talk about that BS and this manga's "story".

Is it too hard to figure out about who naruto was talking about.It is Sakura,he was saying "mom told me to find a girl as great as she is".Only girl who is parallel to kushina is sakura and sakura is standing there and he is hesitated becoz he needs to open up to sakura and sakura to him in a confession.Return of sasuke and naruto still doesn't know whether sakura's feelings towards sasuke has changed so that's why he said he's trying his best.That "trying his best" along with "mom told me to find a girl as great as she is" means it is sakura.This entire manga itself is narusaku love and development and is paralleled to Minakushi and foreshadowed countless times.Obirin is parallel to Narusaku as well and obito's love case was similar to naruto's.Naruto's unending love for his sakura and trying to get her through true love without selfishness and sakura realising her love for naruto,who was and always will be there at her side in times of happiness and sadness and love her like noother can and he is complete only with her will show Narusaku happen in the end.

Well maybe the Love interest won't be confirmed until the actual movie that's coming out. I originally had thought it was set in a AUverse because of Narutos new look, (thought it was set in curent Tokyo for some reason) But it's obvious now that more charactors have been revealed it's set in the future, so maybe Kishi plans to keep that secret until the movie.

 

Ofcourse if that is the case then it would mean that the studio making the movie would have to have been told 2 years ago....which would mean they probably made sure the anime hinted towards that pairing, so the pairing hints from the fillers would actually be cannon, and even if the pairing is revealed in the manga, Kishi would still need to tell them so Naruto is not single in the movie...OK I'm thinking too much into this.

You're being overly defensive over something I never said. I said why would you want Sakura to have been Naruto's girlfriend offscreen NOW when she's been so preoccupied with Sasuke the last twenty chapters. That's not something a girlfriend would do, certainly not a faithful one. I wouldn't want Sakura to end up with Naruto and still think about Sasuke in that way. Naruto and Sakura will get together eventually, but it hasn't happened yet. I'm glad it hasn't-because I look forward to seeing it after all the artificial stretching of the romance plot.

Well Naruto is 17and now he needs to put his foot down and have a serious talk with Sakura yes its true he still thinks Sakura loves Sasuke but Kakashi was assuming she doesn't love Sasuke anymore Kakashi could be right who knows?

I said why would you want Naruto to have been Sakura's boyfriend offscreen NOW when he's been so preoccupied with Sasuke the last 690 chapters. That's not something a boyfriend would do, certainly not a faithful one. I wouldn't want Naruto to end up with Sakura and still obsess about Sasuke in that way.

Gahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! So many feels this chapter! I admit I cried when Naruto jumped and came infront of Minato and both of them exchanged their last words! I knew it was coming. I felt all emotional when Naruto said Kushina's last words!! GAAHHHHH!!! That Naruto ... I even cried when Ero Senin was mentioned!!!! Gosh!!! That baka Naruto.....seeing him cry...made me cry as well      . I still am tearing up....I guess! That baka makes it hard everytime and even his father and....and even his pervert master      . Legendary characters these are!!
 
Oh! And I loved the Kurama and Naruto conversation part....it was so funny XD
 
And one more thing...........HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I SAID IT LAST TIME WHEN THE LAST CHAPTER WAS RELEASED THAT IT WILL BE NARUTO'S BIRTHDAY IN THE NEXT CHAPTER!!! I SAID IT GODDAMIT!!!!!! I SAID IT
