Now you're talking about it, I've always thought that the fact that she cried so heavily when she learnt Naruto loves her is a big proof of her being deeply touched by Naruto's heart.

To me it's a big proof Naruto is more than a friend to her.

First, it's the fact he loves her that Naruto will go through hell for her. Then, the guilt is placed on her when Sai told her that it's her fault as well which then put her in quiet state.

Yes. There were two separate scenes. Sai tells Sakura Naruto loves her. Sakura gets flashbacks of what Naruto has done for her, and realizes it is true. The scene cuts off, next chapter Sai tells her about Naruto's pain.

I'm still wonderong why Sakura headbutted Naruto in 631 (I mean it was obviously so Minato realizes that Kushina=Sakura)

 

Here's what I think: it was hint from Sakura's side as well, she could have just as well denied it (like she did when Konohamaru brought it up)

 

Her and Naruto do kind of had a complicated relationship, on top of the fake confession, and thefact that she knows he loves her and the fact that she still may or may not have feelings for Sasuke (as shown in the love letter scene) she and Naruto never had time to establish where they are in the relationship whether they are still just friends or more than that. But again it could have been like the Konohamaru scene where she hit Naruto and immediately denied it. But she didn't imo she doesn't know where their relationship stands and it didn't help that Naruto answered the question for her to his dead dad

 

I don't think I'm over-analyzing it when I say it, someone let me know if I am.

 

I'd rather this shipping war end right now (there really is no better time) then Kishi stalling it to the very end (like FMA) I mean yeah we knew Ed and WInry had secret feelings for each other much sooner but c'mon how do you get from "no way she's not my girlfriend!" to "Hey i'm getting ready to leave btw will you marry me? k thx bye"

 

besides if he waits till the end that lowers the chances of there being another timeskip/family scene assuming ofcourse Naruto and Sasuke don't end up killing each other.

I just can't see there being any kind of emotion from Sakura when Naruto revives. It's sad to say but she hasn't really shown anything at all at the moment considering naruto's state so i cannot see Sakura doing much when he wakes up, not even a hug..

I'm going to take the liberty of reposting what KnS said on this topic the other day in the debate thread, cause this attitude towards Sakura's "lack of emotion" is very tiresome.

 

 

Okay, about this "Sakura isn't emotional enough" business....

 

Remember when Sasuke took the brunt of Haku's needle attack and Sakura ran to him, and despite knowing it was against her shinobi training to show her emotions she cried her heart out over his "dead" body?

 

Remember Sakura's confession to Sasuke?  All the tears and sniffling, and the unrealistic promises of happiness that weren't hers to make?  How she was so desperate and lacking in self esteem that she pledged to leave behind her family and commitments, pledged to kill for him, to do absolutely anything he wanted?  And when the begging and bargaining didn't work, rather than accept Sasuke's feelings and wishes she stooped to making threats? 

 

Sakura has never been like that with Naruto, even though she feels very deep emotion for him.  Compare all that to when she found out how difficult it is to be a jinchuriki and that when the biju is extracted they die.  How she ran to Naruto when he transformed with four tails, and then how disappointed she was in herself that she could only do the smallest things for him.

 

Remember how she got on Hinata's case for worrying about Naruto when he confronted Tobi, saying he could take care of himself?

 

Remember how she spoke for Naruto while she was healing him, how she said that everyone had to do what was within their power and if they were "going to die anyway, it is better to die fighting than doing nothing"?

 

Now I realize some people will argue that these examples are apples and oranges.  Some will say that the reason Sakura has been more emotional with Sasuke than Naruto is because she loves Sasuke and not Naruto.  But I don't think it's that at all.  I think her behavior is different for two specific reasons.

 

First, with Sasuke she has no confidence.  It's hard to even call their interactions a relationship because he neither respects her nor treats her as an equal.  She has no control in their relationship, and no influence over his feelings whatsoever.  I believe that disparity has made her feelings for Sasuke become larger than life, and feel more desperate and important than they are.    

 

Second, she believes in Naruto completely.  He is always there and never lets her down.  She doesn't worry about him because she believes that he is, in a sense, unstoppable.  She responds to Naruto's crisis moments with strength and bravery because that's what he inspires in her.  

 

Sakura's heart is full of emotion for Naruto.  We know she chose him above Sasuke and herself.  She's not falling apart right now because her long history with Naruto has taught her she can depend on him.  He never gives up and always comes through, and she is determined to help him every step of the way.  She wants to do more than the smallest things for him.

 

It's just my opinion, but I don't think an emotionally rattled Sakura is what we want.  I'd rather see her be in steely command of her feelings until he's out of danger, and then either give Naruto another slug/hug for scaring her or an impetuous kiss.  

 

P.S.  After nearly three years I decided to change my icon.

The NS moment I am predicting is perfectly in character for her, and she's probably held her tears back like she held her fear back. It has been built up and foreshadowed too, so I am predicting this with and without shipping googles.This is just one of those lucky days where what I want fits what I think. :3 No worries.

also the reason I have little hopes is because compared to what her reaction was during the KN4 crisis she seems alot less frantic (which was something I was kind of looking forward to when the inevitable time came when she would see Naruto in this kind of state) but since she's not being as emotional this time around as last time I'm not really expecting her to be as emotional when he recovers

Maybe they are using other series that went through this and get nothing if not less in return for shipping. I guess that's why I was shocked to see Sakura hugging Naruto after Pain's fight. I was used to normal friendship aspect in SJ series. I seen this in movies, but yeah, didn't see it coming.

Which one? Granted, she's never been in this situation before. Previous events 'allowed' her to take her time and be emotional, but not this time.

Now if she'd been completely stoic I would understand. But she doesn't need to cry rivers to prove her love.

Well when your teammate introduces you as his girlfriend to the Fourth Hokage who for the younger generation was probably seen as a godlike individual who single handedly defeated the Nine Tails, it's not exactly a surprising reaction. The fact she didn't deny it, or the fact she reacted violently infront of the fourth Hokage is more surprising,, she'd be the first to deny any possible relationship with Naruto in the past, and usually very respectful around her superiors, yet she was comfertable being herself around even the fourth Hokage.

 

Well less than two days to go until the next chapter is released, can we start speculating? My guess is we will see snippets, so we'll see Naruto in his mindscape wondering why he is there and then meeting the Sage himself, then it will cut to Gai and his team, while they set out to fight Madara and then finally we'll see who is with Sasuke, or possably the other way around with the chapter ending with Naruto meeting the Sage last panel...I'm thinking this because according to some posts this weeks chapter is the last chapter for the volume, so it ending on a cliffhanger makes the most sense to drum up hype for the next volume for those who only buy the Volumes and not buy the Weekly Shounen Jump.

In 667, Obito will die maybe.

It's kind of obvious he'll not survive.

It's possible he'll die in the kamui.

So, what will happen of his Rinnegan ?

Will he give it to Sakura, as he gave his Sharingan to Rin back then ?

They do have a medic there that parallels Rin too so it works out.

 

Although I doubt he's gonna die just yet, Black Zetsu seems to be some wierd form of life support otherwise he would have died after bringing Madara back to life.

Obito enables Sakura to save Naruto, thereby letting him see the future, just like he asked Rin to do with Kakashi.

 

Another thought, what if the dirty foot belongs to Rin? Boy that'd be a twist.

I hope we get a post war chapter where Naruto spends his birthday alone and yet everyone around him throws him a surprise party maybe even get a kiss on the cheek from Sakura.

 

Then again its probably not gonna happen they'd have to save the world, defeat Madara finally take a breather and then go home all in the process of a few hours so...yeah I guess its not gonna happen :(

I think Naruto will never have the Rinnegan.

It's out of his character completely.

But the Rinnegan is wanted by Madara, so it would be dangerous to let it on Obito's corpse when he will die.

Maybe... if he senses death coming in the kamui... maybe he will let it under Sakura's care.

 

Or else Madara will manage to get the Rinnegan. And then it will be hell for the alliance but Naruto will save everyone another time.

Or maybe after saving Naruto, Obito will be too weak to fight against BZ, and BZ will control him again... that would mean that Sakura might be forced to fight him, and even Naruto just after recover... that would be a little awkward I don't think Kishi would do that but... it would make sense for Obito to be controlled again by BZ if he doesn't die already.

 

But Naruto and Sakura will need to go out of the kamui dimension.

If Obito is controlled again by BZ, then Naruto and Sakura will be trapped, even if they fight him and manage to kill him, they will stay trapped. Unless Sakura can get them out of here with some supposedly genjutsu power she was supposed to get maybe, but it's not likely to happen... I think Kishi has just let it down completely and doesn't want to develop it.

 

Kakashi isn't able to kamui himself, so nobody can get to Naruto and Sakura inside if Obito would loose it.

 

So, it's kind of obvious Obito will get them out.

But the problem of the Rinnegan remains.

Because Madara wants it and he'll try anything to have it.

I don't think Madara can get in the kamui dimension.

 

By the way, what will happen of Obito's sharingan ?

There is the Rinnegan, but there is still a Sharingan too, and a pretty powerful one with it.

Maybe Kakashi could get it ?

 

What do you guys think ?
