Someone was taking about Hinata being Naruto's advisor someday. I'd actually be pretty okay with that ... on some certain terms. The thing with Hinata (as she stands now), she's too emotional and impulsive. I'm not going to say she's stupid, but she really doesn't think things through at all. The Pain Arc is all I gotta say.   Hinata is constantly swayed by anxiety and self-doubt. More than that, she's not good at expressing her opinion confidently or openly questioning Naruto's choices. Kakashi, Sakura, Shikamaru, and Sasuke are all extremely good at this, they don't hesitate to point out if they think his judgment is wrong. And that's something Naruto's always really needed. That's what an advisor is supposed to do, anyway. I believe it would be an excellent opportunity for Hinata to become his advisor, it shows character development and has a nice ring to it considering she always wanted to "inspire" him. However, if Kishimoto doesn't change her overly passive attitude towards Naruto and has her be a bit more clear-headed, then the idea is a terrible one. So far, Hinata is in no way cut out for that even if it he has a nice message for her storyline.

 

Honestly, I will be extremely disappointed if Hinata still stays the way she is now. She could be so much than what Kishi made her out to be, and it bothers me because I really want to like Hinata. She's a sweet girl. But I'm so sick of seeing the same thing from her all the time. It's like in some ways she develops, but then she backtracks almost immediately in one way or another. It's almost like she never gets worse, but she doesn't get better. She's literally the textbook example of a "Static Character", she's changed the least out of almost all of the Konoha 12.  I want her to care about leading her Clan instead of chasing after unrequited love, it's getting old especially since it's not going to go anywhere. I want her to be confident in herself more than one chapter at time, and I want her to stop her self-involvement. Though maybe I expect too much of Kishimoto, it's extremely late in the series and she's still the same. *sigh* I think I'm definitely writing a Hinata fanfiction now at some point where her development is properly worked on for once. I know it's a fanfic, but it'd be nice to pretend it happened.

 

I also noticed the amazing contrast between Sakura and Hinata every time they're around Naruto. Sakura's always thinking of his feelings, safety and unconditional loyalty towards Naruto to the point she's sacrifice things for him. Hinata's always "I just want him to notice me" and claims she loves him when she barely knows him. Just one of the many reasons Sakura is my favorite female character and Hinata is not.

Less than TenTen? No way. No character (that has hung around as long as she has) has changed less than her. Shino is also exceptionally static.

Lol, good point. Perhaps not as bad as them, but Hinata still remains the most static recurring character out of the Konoha 12. Which is even more disappointing, considering Kishi does focus on her enough to develop her differently.

The thing with Hinata is that she takes two promising steps forward, but then ten steps back. I initially thought that 615 would've satisfied her need to be noticed and acknowledged by Naruto, but I guess not. One would think that 615 would act as the "stepping stone" for further monumental development as well as a step towards her breaking her fixation with Naruto, but again it wasn't the case. She's still clinging to him and is still solely thinking about him and him only like she always has, which is really a shame.

I nearly died from Sakura's cuteness this chapter, omg.

Frankly, Hinata hasn't displayed this level of critical thinking.

She is absolutely pitiful and reminiscent of a single-celled organism whose only purpose in it's short existence is to duplicate itself. Her purpose is "Naruto-kun."

I blame Kishi and his sexist writing. Not to keep jumping on that boat but IF THE SAIL FITS.

It might, or it might not, I'm not sure.  Regardless, I don't think HInata is capable of multi-tasking, nor of being an adviser to Naruto.  She doesn't have *it.*  Shikamaru does, Kiba does, Ino does, Sakura does, Sasuke does, Sai does --Hinata doesn't.

I'll admit now that think about it Hinata as an adviser could be weird next to impossible but so as a leader of her clan right now. The main problem with her is that all her life no, exresolve around Naruto. I mean look Sakura/ Ino and Hinata in comparaison in this chapter. Ino thanks Naruto and Sakura. Sakura thanks Naruto for  his feeling and his resolve. Hinata just want to be by his side. No emotion or understanding of him,only her selfish desire of being by his side. The point of my post was Sakura didn't need the title to advice Naruto in his personnal life or as hokage, she's close enough of him for that.

 

In the end I cleary don't see Hinata get Naruto (I don't even want to elaborate on that one:P) , but she was SO on a set of mind that I can picture her out of Naruto life  completly or else she won't survive (Yeah I reached that point of thought of her) .  She's cleary not his closest friend and that title could at least provide some more time with him, and maybe Naruto can help her with her leader ship skill cuz as of now, I saw her sister, you know, the one we know nothing about ,has better chance to possess leadership skill to be the clan leader. They're at war and she just think about that single thought the entire war arc.

As far as we know the next chapter will consist of Naruto and Sasuke vs Obito, and possibly the shinobi alliance as well. luckily next chapter will come out on Tuesday, so we'll just have to see.

Also I know it said naruto and Sasuke will fight Obito, but I get the feeling that it'll then draw down to just Naruto and Obito in the end.

Possibly. I can see Naruto going to feel weak soon as Obito probably mock him for that's it and Sasuke would have even hard time since Naruto is really needed, no matter if he don't want to admit that. Remember, people are about to attack and no way Obito would just let it go, so he will multi-task as well as Naruto.

I don't think so. I don't think there's anybody else in this war dying anymore. Shikamaru was the last of them before the preparation of the alliance to fight again. First, it was Neji which he died then Tsunade which she's alive and Shikmaru is saved now. I don't see more death in the side of the alliance. Obito and Madara are the next ones.

Yeah, and I think Madara will afterwards try to stop them also after Obito's attacks are failed or something, or Madara will just defend the tree from the first time if he got away from Madara.

If Hinata is going to be become the heir of the hyuga clan then she would be reporting to Naruto, so she wouldn't be a adviser but she would represent the hyuga clan and have meeting with the hokage. I dont see how she would be able to advise him on anything else.

She might personally give suggestions because she is his friend(if she dares..lol), but not be official like Shikamaru.

 

I just don't think it is in character for her to give advice on many aspects, I know a NH argument that says she will be his moral compass, but I think he is more than moral enough already.

 

Advice wouldn't even be the best word. She has been able to cheer him up and reinforce his ninjaway that it seemed like he almost forgot, but I think their main mission together will be to unite the Hyuuga clan.

 

But giving advice? No I think Naruto is simply a much better decision-maker than her.

but most of her development is Naruto-kun

 

 

and  hinata being naruto's adviser? dont think so she aint so smart compared to Sakura and Shikamaru
