Something awkward yet funny happened today.
So during sport my class was playing a game of cricket. My team was batting so the people who were waiting for their turn had to sit out for the time being and watch the game unfold [and watch our other teammates who are batting score us high, big time
]. Well, anyways, so while I was sitting down this kid on my team was doing all these sorts of random dances and gestures and whatnot. So anyways. This is how the convo went:
Me: What exactly are you doing? /gives him WTF look
Nick [that's his name]: I'm dancing. Isn't it cool?
Me: No. It's gay, just like your mom.......... nah I'm just kidding.
Nick: Yeah, totally, my mom's gay.
Me: I said I was just kidding.
Nick: Of course she is. She f#cks men.
Me: What?! ........ /shouts/ HOW IS F#CKING MEN GAY?!?
And then the funny bit is... my teacher comes and tells me off for [1] using inappropriate language and [2] being loud.
She didn't shout at me or anything, thank goodness, but she's just all like "First, be careful of your language, and second, maybe a little more quite. What you just said there sounded pretty embarrassing." Then she walks off to watch the game and then everyone looks at me and starts pissing themselves laughing. I was laughing too though, sooo it was all good.
