I just caught up to the latest chapter, started reading the manga yesterday, couldn't stop. Never would I have thought that agriculture would be so interesting. It really has something that separates itself from other mangas. Pretty much all the characters are likeable and like how they handle the reality of things ex. "yea this piglet is cute, but we're gonna eat it eventually". But what makes this manga the best is hachiken's expression. Nothing beats that

Interesting. Well not an exciting chapter but I enjoyed the sausage processing!! Oh and Okawa? Mikage may say that but you know you don't deserve any girls next to you after taking your envious rage on Hachiken right?

Silver Spoon this week...

So much pork in both the anime and manga!

 

We finally got to see transformed Tamako and Tokiwa in the anime. XD  You can definitely see Mikage worrying about Hachiken in this episode, and I liked the time they spent together at the festival. 

 

This manga chapter, I laughed so much at the power cut scene. Okawa is going to have to watch his back from now on, Nishikawa is so pissed off about losing his game progress.  Never get between an otaku and his dating games. 

 

Komaba really needs to take the time to see his friends. 

 

I wonder what the 3rd years are planning to make in the pizza oven...

Seriously, guys, I know there's been a lot of chapters with food, but THIS one is an entire chapter showing food....  I haven't even eaten breakfast yet and it's making me hungrier.....

Nishikawa is really sticking the knife into poor Okawa.  I guess dating games do have some use in real life as well. 

 

I really wonder what Hachiken is planning now, does he intend for the students to go into business with the next batch of pork?

 

Komaba needs a good slap upside the head.  Maybe his mother will have words with him, once she hears the story from the twins.

Aww, there were only 11 episodes of the anime? 

 

Hopefully, we will soon see a new season!  On the upside, this means that the anime studio can keep the production quality high and there will be no need to resort to fillers.

 

It's been a great run, and it definitely leaves me wanting more!

 

Chapter 86

Oh Hachiken, putting cute piglets on a sausage label is NOT a good idea. 

 

I chuckled at the scenes with Alexandria, poor Vice President. XD;  Hachiken looked like he had broken his back on that table!

 

I wonder if there'll be any interesting character development on that long ride?  Maybe Alexandria will comment on the developing relationship between Hachiken and Mikage...

It looks like the surprise did Komaba a lot of good, he said he would see them again soon, and he's also got the baseball pitching area back up!

 

I laughed at Okawa, the poor guy has been corrupted by Nishikawa.     Now he's going to be a Miku Niko-tan otaku for life.

Ah, thanks for the info, Codus.     I know the scanlators do sometimes lag behind, but I wasn't sure when exactly the chapter was released.

 

I won't look at the spoiler, I'll just have to hope that they release the next scanlation before too long.
