Your right about how they show so much pervy stuff, but no romance it really makes no sense. At the least I hope we get a nice (long) kiss, I mean they did not seem to hold back when Fuuka kissed Naruto. They did it twice and even made a lot of noise. They also better not leave us with a cliff hanger. Also I would still watch and love Naruto if it became just a romantic story or at least 50/50. What I'm trying to say is I WANT MORE NARUSAKU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fuuka was filler. Anyway if this solely became a romance story or even fifty-fifty as you said I would stop watching. It's the undertones that make things like this better. I hate romances that have nothing else happening. It's unrealistic.

Nice kiss scenes I've enjoyed is in Maison Ikkoku...The first kiss Kyoko sneaks to Godai was so sweet and mischeivous, and their second (more serious kiss) was so romantic...
But this manga was aimed for an older audience, that's why they could allowed such kiss scenes.

I guess when Naruto is in the "moment" with Sakura, he'll feel lost on what to do next. Then he'll remember the kiss Tsunade gave him on the forehead so he'll just use that on Sakura. Sakura would blush then she will be the one who kisses Naruto on the lips then wrap their arms around each other. I don't see Naruto being the one who goes for the lip-kiss first. Sakura is more likely.

Btw I'm a guy who goes for pretty faces. I don't really like the model-like mouth pouting poses that some girls take pictures of themselves. I'm more of the sweet kind. Boobs and ass are just bonuses to me.

Well, this is a shonen, so the best we're going to get is a kiss. And it probably won't even show it up close, it'll show a distance shot of them embracing, and then show Sakura touching her lips smiling. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like shonen manga go all out with the blood, violence, and swearing, while staying pretty innocent with the sexual stuff. Unless it concerns perverted old men, and even then relations are only implied.

It depends on the series. There are many shonen manga doesn't go overboard with violence, and I am quite sure swearing is not so frequent how some translators would have us believing. Nonetheless, I don't remember many examples of shonen manga where sexual stuff goes beyond eroticism, sexual tension between two characters in love, lecherousness played for laughs or fanservice. I don't remember many instances of lovemaking being blatantly displayed. Often it is suggested or hinted...

For example, in one of the last chapters of Touch, Minami hints her best friend she intends sleeping with Tatsuya (the main character and Minami's boyfriend) the next Summer. The las chapter is an epilogue happens after that Summer, and there is no reason to think they did not -even if it isn't blatantly stated-, so...

And sometimes we see the consequences, even if lovemaking wasn't shown, right like in Rurouni Kenshin or Inuyasha (we found out Kenshin and Kaoru/Sango and Miroku were parents)...

Nevertheless, I think some shonen manga writers draw sex scenes, even if they aren't too much overt... Johji Manabe comes to mind, even if I don't care much for his work (I read Outlanders and Drakoon, and I didn't like them). Kazushi Hagiwara does it as well, but I don't know if his works are shonen or seinen manga.

It is easier seeing sex scenes in seinen manga, since they target for young adults.

Returning to the subject of the kiss, I have seen plenty kisses in plenty shonen manga, evn if they aren't romance-themed (believe it or not, Koji and Sayaka kissed at the end of Mazinger Z, even if it only happened in the manga. And the official couples of UFO Robo Grendizer also did in the las episode, IIRC. And those were very action-focudes shows!), so I am... fairly certain Kishimoto will draw a scene where Naruto and Sakura kiss.

IMO, I can imagine they talking and a peeved Sakura blatantly asking Naruto if he will ever kiss her. And then he hugging her and doing right that.

I've seen a lot of M-rated fics(yeah, I'm a pervert, sue me) where Sakura has sex with Naruto because she's depressed and imagining he's Sasuke. Naruto of course can't say no because he loves her so basically everyone wallows in angst until Sakura finally realizes she really loves Naruto. And that's not the worst part. If the fic is written well and the author knows how to keep you interested people(like me ) find it hot even if it is OOC.

And people pretends they are NS fics... why, exactly?

Haha, I also like Maison Ikkoku. I think that is the best Takahashi's work.

However, kisses are allowed in shonen manga. I don't know what gave you the idea of they aren't allowed.

I wouldnt say I'm obsessed HAHA but boobs are certainly over rated. Which is why I laugh at more mangas because the characters that are female have like triple Z breasts. I mean seriously? I like realism.

Which is why I'd prefer a realistic Narusaku moment. Would Naruto really go out and say his feelings? Maybe. Its life and death in war and sometimes we do crazy stuff (Trust me, I've been there) so a spur of the moment confession from Naruto is likely. However I'm SURE thats all we would get until the war is over. He will probably leave Sakura dumbfounded or something as he rushes off to fight whomever it is that he has to fight.

Well, authors put them in the NS folder because the main characters are Naruto and Sakura. I hate that, too especially if the fic ends with them not getting together or Sakura breaking Naruto's heart. I feel so betrayed then.

However it could be worse.

How so? Well, sometimes you find a fanfic with the "Character A - Character B" labels, you click on the link expecting reading a romance story featuring your shipped couple... and then it turns out it is a revenge fic where Character A (usually the male half of the couple) takes revenge on Character B for whatever slights the writer of that tripe thinks Character B commited against Character A.

Obviously and regrettably I have found that kind of fics put in the NS folder. They are incredibly idiotic. And even disturbing (Sakura lambasting Naruto for no reason, Naruto snapping out, morphing into four-tailed fox and tearing her apart? Please!).

It is like if nobody reads the official source before writing their fic, and portray the characters according the fanom or their ill-preconceived notions of what is or should be instead of trying being so accurate like possible. Sakura hating Naruto and brooding because she can't get Sasuke? Naruto running from Konoha because a girl rejected him, hating Sakura for not loving him back or abusing him or forcing him to retrieve Sasuke, and trying harming her? Give me a break!

And it is specially aggraviating when you find a bunch of fans absolutely convinced of fanon is equal to canon. Or it would be aggraviating if it wasn't because the manga shatters their dellusions over and again. They thought Naruto would fall in love with Hinata when she confessed because she has always been nice to him, has acknowledged him and helped him and she is his most precious person. But it didn't happen why in reality Naruto barely knows Hinata, their relationship is barely existent and she has almost never helped Naruto when he needed it. They thought Sakura would defect and ally with Sasuke because she loves him so much she can't bear it, and she can't live without him, and would kill Naruto to protect Sasuke. It didn't happen because Sakura relinquished her dellusions regarding Sasuke long ago, she didn't fall apart because a boy rejected her when she was thirteen, she is in love with Naruto and she is loyal to Konoha.

It is kind of hilarious seeing the difference between what they think will happen -based on their preconceived notions and bias- and what finally is.

By the way, IIRC, you mentioned in an earlier post you thought Misty wasn't an important character in the Pokemon manga, right? Actually it depends on what manga version you are talking about, since there are several Pokemon manga (and Ash doesn't even exist on some of them). However there actually are Ash/Misty and James/Jesse ship fanservice in the manga basedon the Pokemon anime (Jessie and James actually get married).

I agree with what you said. And the labeling thing goes both ways. Sometimes I want to read a fic about two character's friendship or thoughts about each other(let's say Naruto and Sasuke or Kakashi and Sakura) and I carefully choose the gender but it always(ok, 85% of the time) ends up being a romance fic.

I have the same thing with fanart. I'm a big fan of the Sakura-Ino friendship and I want some fanart, but instead of some friendship-art, I find yuri.

You need to scroll back through the pages. There's plenty of things to debate- including some that get a bit heated, even within being narusaku fans.
