So basically it is relied heavily on the Japanese SNS fanbase to get the big numbers that it did. Huh, the impression i got from that granny weatherwax hat was that none of the SNS fans were buying into the baiting and none of them were going to go see it. Nice to see that color my prediction and assume similar thoughts colored others expectations since none of us were expecting SNS only nH and SS with a few other people going so they can their friends if its' good or not.

That is the case. I heard that if you don't let that blindside you, the flaws are visible such as rushed relationship of father/son. In fact, you could say the third act may be your movie killer, because it feels disjointed with the rest. So say like the father/son is actually really good, won't you be so upset if the third act completely erases that just to please SNS fans. I haven't seen it but I got a feeling I may be. Good for fan service, but if not blinded, you may have a big different opinion.

I really didn't care for her personality and it didn't stick out or impress me other than when she was tearing apart SS or when she was interacting with Naruto. Without that she was fine. I don't think anyone would find anything offensive about her personality but she kind of bland. Chou chou on the other hand. wow.

She was a missed opportunity, though not bad. Just missed. Yeah, ChouChou, female or not, was just questionable on why that way. Like why.

The expectation i was talking about were about who was going to go see the movie not the movie itself.

 

My expectation on the movie was it was going to be at best average but it would at least better than the last.

Ah I see what you saying. I still wonder how bad films in RT and MC wise still garnered tons of money, more so than many legit good ones. People these days are a mystery.

When it comes to Sarada's character I think she's decent at best, the only grip i have about Sarada is due to the fact that the ending of Gaiden makes her out to be SS child which was pretty dumb on Kishi's part. 

 

By the way apparently somebody go salty about me calling Himmawari bland from the oneshot and giving Sarada praise, I found it pretty hilarious to be honest.

I wasn't surprised by her turning out to be a SS child, but the whole drama thing Kishimoto had going on with the
"who's my mother" was a complete waste of time. And Himawari is bland, because the only reason that girl got the Byakugan in the first place was just so Kishimoto could fix his mistake of not giving any of the NH children it. The way she unlocked it was completely stupid too, but it's whatever now. She's still just as irrelevant as her mother was/still is

I wasn't that surprised either I already knew from the first chapter of Gaiden that Kishi was just screwing with the fandom that's why when the tests results came in from Suigetsu I was like nah still not buying it. I would've liked for it go down that route, but considering how Kishi messed up the original series it wasn't that shocking. The who was your mother subplot was really stupid to be honest with you,  I've said this once and I'll say it again the only good thing that came out of the Gaiden was the relationship bond between Naruto and Sarada I think that worked somehow. Everything else though was just pointless.  I would've much rather perferred seeing them going through entrance exams in order for them to achieve their headbands that would've been so much better, but sadly this is Kishi we're dealing with so it wasn't gonna happen.
