I wanna say that I hate everyone's name even Shinachiku (I spelled it right?) I hate everyone in Naruto even though I feel sympathy for some. Naruto is now empty, everything I saw and read turned out to be a lie and it doesn't feel right or the same, even NS doesn't feel all too good, I like pictures but I barely feel anything towards it

okay don't, but when you debate, or discuss the story and the ending its kind of a necessity to know what the story and the ending were actually about, which includes the retcons and everything else, since you know they're canon

on the other hand if you want to live in fanon-verse like you are saying you do, you don't have to care about any of that, so best of luck. 

 

When I debate I simply bother to show how the characters were presented pre 692 (or even pre war arc / Kage summit) , and how it doesn't tie with what happened later in the series. 

Once I got the point across it's easier to show how Kishi's retcons make no sense within the storyline and how much the later arcs (and the ending) turned the story into a travesty of itself

 

In sum, I don't have your point of " the ending destroyed the characters completely" because the characters were already being destroyed far before, however I'd say the ending completely nulified their chances of redemption (character-wise speaking).

I honestly didn't care for Shinachiku's name either, but it's grown on me. I think out of all of the NS fanmade children, I like Arashi's design the most.

What do you mean justify? Do you mean do it and not make everyone who cares look like a complete doofus? I don't mind it if he is sufficiently called out on his crap and the damage he's done through his absence is portrayed well or really...at all.

Ah, who am I kidding? This is Kishimoto and this is Sasuke. Why should I expect any of that?

Lel, Gambits face was the subject of much staring for me along with his Cajun accent. 
Even as a kid i was attracted to the handsome ones  

 

 

If I had the endings side by side — the one we have now and a one where Sakura died in battle and was mourned deeply by Naruto, everyone else and even Sasuke (with Naruto moving on to Hinata but dedicating the hospital in her name, something like that — then I would choose the one where she died. Like I've said, the ending now is just like some kind of April Fool's prank. Or a genjutsu. Not a real ending for the story that came before.

 

And I hate to say that - Sakura is my favorite character. There was so much potential for her to make a powerful change in her life and in the story. But Kishi just trashed it.

 

 

 

On the topic of Shinachiku and Menma, I would have preferred to use names that carried a meaning to them. Naruto wasn't named Naruto because he liked the food - but because his dad like the ideal of a book character named Naruto.

 

Naming kids randomly after food because Naruto is named after food misses the point. 

 

(Bolt is decent because it has some meaning behind it, tying it to Neji. But Salad? What??? Where did that come from?)

This is exactly how i feel. I wish she were dead to spare her the suffering, to spare myself the suffering of having to watch her sink into new plains of degradation. I LOVED Sakura, i still love the essence of who she used to be, but looking at how she is now i don't see the strong person she was, but a weak simpering abandoned FOOL of a girl. 

It would be better if they were all dead and Madara had won....

He's an Uchiha..... and it seems apparently that in Naruto, you can get away with anything as long your last name is Uchiha

I still think they shouldn't have done chapter 700 for Boruto the way it did, because that's like a lesson learn. Then Gaiden happened and back to square one. What did Boruto learn then?

Leaving your kid for over a decade is not the worst thing an Uchiha has been forgiven for. I mean Sasuke's still not cooler than Obito.
