As promised everyone here is my live reaction to last week's chapter, and this week's all in one

Oh well, so i think I finally got my mind into the whole story. So...my thoughts are as follows.

 

Cast:

 

Midoriya Izuku: The main character of the story, some compare him to Naruto, but while Naruto was loud and annoying, Midoriya strikes me as very polite. For the most part he also have the many cliches of many manga protagonists. "The never give up" attitude, and the relentless spirit. Yet unlike many manga main characters the kid is not some sick pervert or some OP kitten. He has weaknesses, but also counterbalances those weaknesses with positives.

 

Ochako Uraraka: The main female protagonist of the story. The only thing I can say about this adorable bubbly, rosey cheek bundle of joy is how surprised I was, that she didn't just become another token chick. *cough Hinata cough* or just someone to push the main character's rivalry. AKA Sakura. Instead I got someone who has dreams and motivations that are different from everyone else. She wants to make a lot of money as a hero, but also wants to help her parents, apart from that she is still a young teenage girl, and in many chapters she has shown that she has developed feelings for the main character, but seems unsure as to how to proceed. Later on though I feel she will have to confront these feelings head on, her choice to shut those feelings down will only hurt her in the end.

 

Kaachan: Okay, nothing to say here except that every time this guy is in a panel I am either really angry at his contempt for others, or laughing my ass off at him being the butt of a joke.

 

Tenya IIda: I feel that this one should have been the rival. Yet I wasn't disappointed, as Tenya is the straight man who tries to keep things centered from all the madness going on in class 1A. 

 

All Might: During the fight between him and All for One, at the very end I was literally shouting. ALL MIGHT! ALL MIGHT! ALL MIGHT!. Imagine my surprise when he won, and didn't die in some cliche death. Although one can claim that this battle was actually All Might's death, as All Might is no more.

 

Fights:

 

My favorite fights so far are the team up duel between Midoriya and Ochaku vs Bakugou and IIda, the fight between All Might vs All for one, and finally the Eri rescue battle arc against the criminal underworld. Although there are many more I did enjoyed.

 

Villains:

 

Apart from All for One, the main villain. (Some dude with hands on his face) has yet to impress me, and for some reason I find this quite annoying, and that main villain does to. He seems to know that if he doesn't do something grandiose soon, then he will just end up becoming the butt of a joke.

 

There is also this crazy chick that polymorphizes her shape to take on the form of a person she has drank blood from. Ultimately I feel that she and Ochako will end up fighting. It is here that I believe our dear Uraraka will have to confront her feelings for Midoriya, as apparently this crazy polymorph has also taken a liking to the main hero, in a weird creepy way.

During Jump Festa 18 Kohei Horikoshi («Boku no Hero Academia»), said that he starts preparing for the "Final Battle", which marks the end of the Academy.

 

And no - it does not mean that in the near future it is worth waiting for the announcement of the end, Decu and his friends are just getting ready to go to the finish line.

As in....... He's preparing for the end of the cast as High School students and will start on the the saga with them as adults/pro heroes?

Cool. I got scared for a second that the series was ending. At least Horikoshi isn't scared to age his cast up to adults before the end of the series.

Any thoughts on what story component will usher in the timeskip? I think All-Might's actual death will be it.

Okay I just read it...good God was this chapter funny.

 

Like I mentioned before, every time Kaachan is getting screentime its hilarious. He has become the Yamcha of the group.
