Although I'm not sure what an all Naruto fandom gang would accomplish or who we would oppose. Those who would seek to prevent english translations I guess.

Demand they release English subbed versions instead of dubs on tv? XD

Sadly I can't imagine a miracle like that happening. Besides, I'm sure there're more fans of One Piece than Naruto, so the whole "We got the threads, suckers!! CAN YOU DIG IIIIITT!!" speech wouldn't work so well. Bleach...

But back on thread topic, any predictions for what happens next? It seems the Madara-Obito partnership is deteriorating as time goes on. What's gonna happen before the Ten-Tails transforms again?

You guys still call the bench scene that was so obvious and meant to be joke, even on Sakura's flashbacks about Sasuke this scene is not even being brought up.
The only things of serious that "this" scene had is Naruto and his feelings.

Of course they wouldn't pick up on it. LOL They're really just happy they got that moment between them but it is a good point. Though, I mean, the blushing could go either way. Could mean she's matured with her feelings for Naruto, or it could mean that she's not being romantic about this whole situation though IMO, it wouldn't really matter considering whatever it may be, romantic or not, we're already aware of her feelings for him and I don't think they've gone anywhere. Another thing to note is Naruto doesn't seem to view her in that manner.

You all can't keep self-imploding every day for the foreseeable future over it. We embarrass ourselves to others who come to see what our reactions are to the latest chapters. Show that we are all better than what is thought of us. So, far all we've done is play right into the impression of us being a fandom that can't even handle a little character development.

I did!!! But it was quickly buried back on page 49 of this thread, lol. Here's what I said:

Okay, after watching Slextrem's excellent video I decided to reread #615. Since then I've been thinking about the hand-holding part.

There's all this energy around Naruto supposedly holding Hinata's hand in a romantic way, right? Never mind that Naruto has never shown any romantic interest in Hinata before. Never mind that Naruto is not likely to be in romance mode in the middle of the war. Never mind the whole holding-hands-because-he's-about-to-transfer-chakra thing. Romance is still the way some readers are interpreting it, and others are afraid of interpreting it, right?

But consider what Hinata actually thinks:

"Naruto's hand is... so big... so manly... but most importantly... it makes me feel safe!!!"

It's as if she wasn't interpreting it as romance herself -- not from his side, I mean. Her private thoughts (above) aren't actually about their relationship. It's not as if she thought, "OMG!! Naruto is SO HOLDING MY HAND. Does this mean he could LOVE ME???"

No. There's no hope included in her thoughts, no assumptions. She simply reacts to her private dream of holding his hand, not to the possibility that it means anything. Hinata's fans might be willing to assume Naruto loves her, but I don't think Hinata assumes he does.

Looking at it from that angle makes it seem even more development-coming-full-circle for Hinata, rather than advancing the relationship from Naruto's side in any way.

Hmm.... Just a late night thought.

Now that you bring it up guys... Actually, what Hinata needed was to feel safe and protected, as well as acknowledged.
And she got all of those in 615.

Just remember who Hinata was back in the beginning. A gentle one who didn't like to fight, would actually avoid them as much as they can, an individual who had no acknowledgement, since the whole thing with her father and Neji.
And basically, Naruto brought all those to her. Safety, protection and acknowledgement.

That's what I think, anyway... Does it make any sense?

You're not the only one. I caught it too, that was the reason why I said that the whole chapter was a Hinata-moment, NOT a NaruHina Moment. The whole atmosphere, including the hand-holding, wasn't romantic. That's why I didn't understand why everyone was having hissy fits over here when we all knew that Hinata was going to have a moment and here it was of her hogging the spotlight.

Speaking of the hand-holding, if you guys go back to the debate thread, give credit to Don-kun who found a picture of holding hands romantically contrasting to the one of Naruto and Hinata's. Although he did mentioned that Hinata was caressing Naruto's cheeks after the "reality slap", but don't you have to write the action down for that? I thought caress meant touching something and with some possible little bit of movement in a caring and gentle way.

I mentioned it too..... I said it was Hinata developing because she is hardly mentioned in the manga and her character character barely moved and inch if at all in terms of change before this and the Pain arc. Never mind those Pierrot biased fillers, I barely see her in the canon story. So this is just to boost her a character in the story and actually have her do more than usual

besides I'm not buying anything ship tease as canon till one of them actually kisses him. I say this because......... lets be honest. Kishi does have an tendency to do mood whiplash when it comes to the romantic moments, intentional or not. WHATEVER he intends always worms its way into some thinking it's couple canon moment then another moment makes those those shippers rage enough to rip a building in two. that is fact. So saying this, let me add on that I only accept a "canon shipping moment" when something as UNDENIABLY romantic as the above stated happens, and it stays consistent. the hug was good but he did not stick with it too much, cause we all what happened next

I appreciate the acknowledgement, but this inst the reason why I post is more about making sense of sorting event's in a way to know if others share that same point of view or I'm over seeing things.

While I was focusing on solid argument on the why I didn't believe there was any romantic indication or solidification of NH due to the fact that Naruto never blush at her contact, never thought about her confession, face Hinata in a romantic way there and solid observation like those from KnS and Chucky-kun post, plus the fact that there is no indication in the Manga that Naruto has move on, Naruto feelings for Hinata are still in the air same with Sakura feelings and the meaning of her two reactions to NH. A mean so many things fans need to consider before jumping to any conclusion but for some odd reason the logical stuff are ignored.

In my personal opinion this charter was more about Hinata development, Hinata finally receiving that long awaited acknowledgment from Naruto, and to prompt any feelings Sakura might have for Naruto due to that single unnecessary panel of her shocked expression that Kishi added. I could be wrong but the only way to know this is by reading the next chapters.


If I'm right Am not one to open threads to point of peoples mistake, but I will make a You see if wrong to jump to any conclusion before anything is defined, if I'm wrong I guess I didn't pay attention to the Manga and I miss something important somewhere.

I already know. It's just the episode happened before the end. I know the show ended but my point is to address the hand holding. My point is that hand holding has different meanings and we don't know yet which one Kishi chose. Get it now?

but cartoons(not anime) usually spell out the couples, and make it obvious XD and unlike anime, cartoons can have hugging and stuff and not be seen as a pairing thing :3 at least thats how it feels.
