Naruto is an uzumaki jinchuriki just like kushina and mito.
Uzumaki jinchuriki always choose the strongest opposite sex of their generation.
Mito with hashirama
Kushina with minato
Naruto with sakura
There for we are safe, unless sasuke turn out to be a girl or legendary golden byakugan awake.

showdown is much better.

I miss Xiaolin Showdown but ever since Chronicles came in and took over when I first checked this show out I was like what!? This show is awesome even the intro is cool.

How would you feel if Naruto ended with no pairings? I'd feel like Kishimoto threw all the NS development in the trash. But, I would definitely have a laugh at the crazy pairing fans.

Impossible! Kishi has invested way too much in everybody's romance to not have anything. I mean, he has this seemingly huge theme of unrequited love, so SOMETHING has gotta be requited in the end. Let's make a list, yeah?

Hinata <3s Naruto
Lee <3s Sakura
Ino "<3"s Sasuke
Karin <3s Sasuke

Even in other generations, the theme of unrequited love is quite common...

There's gonna be something in the end. People who don't think so are kidding themselves. Though a shipless ending is more likely than NaruHina. I honestly believe that.

Is Obito/Rin canon now or what? Kishimoto-sensei didn't really end this conclusively.

I think it was implied that they are  it was more or less confirmed in a subtle way imo .
