I remember when NH fans on NF expected Minato to meet his ''real'' daughter in law just before he would disappear, That was a popular prediction. And I understand why they would want that, after all, that makes so much sense you know Naruto's future wife would meet Minato, but instead Kishi preferred to mislead by making sakura the only one who met minato. (laughs)

That would have required Kishimoto to actual plan his story out... you know... oh and not be confused about the general principle of a "red herring". Since he seems to think it means you develop something for 15 years only to just push something else in the end. "What a twist"....

 

I understand the few NH fans who are speaking out against this, and why they don't like it. It's the other NH fans who are HAPPY about this that I don't understand. Canon status above good story telling I suppose.
