Well, full spoilers are out. Neither Viola or Rebecca will be joining :(

 

Well lets be honest, those two joining was highling unlikely in the first place, we have the same issue with them as we have with Vivi, they are royalty, their asociation with Mugiwara would cause issues with the Marines for the royal family and the island as a whole.

 

I still think the next crew member is that girl that was mentioned but not shown couple of chapters back. though she could also be the trigger for the next direction of the next arc.

 

I know Jinbie is likely to join but honestly hoping he becomes an ally with his own crew rather than a crewmate, he's a former captain, and completely ruin the current format with the monster three, those three barely get enough strong opponants between them as it is, add in Jinbie and we have ourselves a forth powerhouse and potentially Zoro and Sanji being relegated to the sidelines even further than they have been since the timeskip.

Jinbe is technically already a part of the crew (can't wait till he joins). He's not going to be just an ally, or Oda wouldn't have even bothered with Luffy asking him. Sanji hasn't gotten relegated to the sideline, he had plenty of action this arc before he left on the ship.

Yeah man, haha, Tashigi > Nami... Sanji could score Nami anyday, why would I ship Luffy with Nami when there is Luffy x Vivi and Sanji x Nami. Haha you're a awesome dude, and Tashigi is the best girl in One Piece.

Well I was wondering how Mugiwara would take away the link between him and the royal family and what excuse the Marines would use to increase his bounty, now we know. Really not much to say about the manga, Luffy did what we expect Luffy to do, in te end, Rebecca still insists on calling Luffy Lucy, which is cute. Also not sure if this will come out different in MS's translation but what do you think knocked the marines out? If it wasn't the emperor's Haki? Was that Luffy or is it someone else?
