If that red scarf turns out to be NH's red thread of fate and serves as a retcon of Kushina and Minato's relationship as it ties to NH...I'll just.... Ugh.

She is popular because she has big breasts.
I hate when people put down a character to make another look better. If you love a character that much, you should be able to think of reasons why without having to compare them to one you hate. To be honest...I hated Sakura in part one. I thought she was annoying and immature, kind of like how I think of Hinata now. It is like my opinions of them switched going from part one to part two. What Sakura had was admirable and good development, which got me to like her in part two (and got me to dislike her again when it was thrown away in 699...go ahead and hate on me guys, but I may change my mind if her OOC behavior was only genjutsu or whatever), and Hinata downgraded.
I think part of Sakura's appeal, for me anyway, was how she changed from what she was in part one. It's quite relatable...I wasn't exactly the most mature at 12 myself. I'd rather hate my 12 year old self now, probably.
To me, I just reject Sakura's behavior in 699 completely. That isn't the Sakura I've grown to love. Just as the Naruto in 700 isn't the Naruto I've spent the entire story rooting for.

It's ripped though. Doesn't seem good to me.

I agree. She appealed to me in part two because of how much she changed. It was very refreshing, unlike her obnoxious fangirly 12 year old self. I don't think many people are happy remembering their 12 year old selves...
The characters were so OOC in 699/700...it didn't make sense to me at all. Maybe I shouldn't be disliking Sakura, but Kishi instead...or as I call him and joke about him "trollmoto".

At that point I start taking drawing lessons and invest a couple thousand bucks in equipment, and then finally put out a fan comic showing how this should have ended, and the mistakes Kishimoto has made.

"Looking at the Naruto wiki has brought up a very important point to me. The pairings and children are there as they have been generally accepted. However, aren’t wikis supposed to be about facts?
What are the facts in this situation? Sarada is Sakura’s daughter. Bolt is Naruto’s Son. Himawari (I never actually saw her name anywhere in the translation I read) is Hinata’s daughter.
However there is no mention of any other connections between Hinata, Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto. So everything that is there is an assumption, a generally accepted assumption but an assumption all the same.
Other than the placement of panels (which could easily mean that Lee’s youthful apprentice is Himawari’s brother) and some resemblance (which could easily place Sarada as NOT Sakura’s daughter if it was accepted as fact) there is nothing that specifically links the characters.
The Ino-Shika-Chou families have these connections, a lot more explicitly stated and shown. Smells fishy to me that they get more time and resolution than the main characters.
My point is the SasuSaku and NaruHina pairings are ONLY ever implied, yet are accepted as fact and in all honesty while there is evidence pointing towards these pairings in the manga itself, there is just as much point away from them as well.
Assumptions abound on some rather sketch evidence and even if they match the intended result not exactly as an intelligent practice is it people?"

Is the scarf really ripped or is that shot just a result in pausing at the moment it was in fast motion? I really hope it's the former, but isn't it possible to be the latter?

If that happens, let Toneri do whatever the hell he wants with her
.
I kid
Yeah exactly! Plus the scarf is nowhere to be seen during the mission, just during the attack when Hinata's falling.
Does Naruto even wear it in the movie? LOL. I doubt he'll wear a scarf that's ripped in half. He might just pick it up or something after he saves her, who knows.
it's just SP and their sneaky ass marketing. in the trailer we don't even see naruto wearing the scarf she made for him.

There's a South Park episode where the Goth Kids are pissed off about the Vampire Kids Bogarting their style, and everyone acting like they are Vampire Kids. In it the head Goth keeps saying:
So Lame!
That's how I feel with Hinata on team 7. I hate seeing her there. So Lame!

I have a feeling that either she accepts the fact that they're not meant to be and never gave him the scarf or she gives it to him towards the end of the movie. AND CLOSURE.

Just some observations.
Naruto liked Sakura for years, she wasn't a bad girl or anything and she'd be willing to die for Naruto as well..? While Hinata liked him, she really wasn't that close to him. She was willing to die for him, but so were most of the leaf. He really seemed to love Sakura even though she might not like him, so if he really cared for her, then it'd make no sense for him to quickly get over her.... Naruto isn't fickle, and Hinata wasn't really his type (he seems to like the tsundere and girl with back bone; if Hinata did have that back bone in the begining, then she wouldn't have fallen for Naruto because the only reason she fell for Naruto was cause he was a fellow loser, except unlike her, he never gave up)
also as a child, Sakura was ostracized like Naruto but not to nearly the same extent for something outside of her power and then was rescued by one person showing kindness to her and befriending her
another reason for Naruto to still like Sakura is because she will try almost anything to protect him. While her Real confession was mean,(When Sakura confessed to Naruto. (He got mad at what she said about sasuke not about the actual confession) she did it to protect him, and she was willing to try and kill Sasuke when he joined Akatsuki (an organization that wanted to kill Naruto)
while she couldn't kill Sasuke, it didn't exactly have to mean that she still liked him; it could just be because she liked him for 5 yrs and then he became a part of her family (team 7) so she couldn't kill him because of who he used to be (before Itachi mind raped him a 2nd time, he was actually a pretty good kid,
Unlike Hinata, Sakura has always (good and bad) treated Naruto as a person. Yes, growing up at the Academy, Sakura didn't treat Naruto that great but then again, nobody did - even Iruka despised Naruto before he got to know him. Not even Hinata spoke up for Naruto when he was treated bad during that time so please don't try to make her out to be a saint. And on the topic of treatment, Hinata has treated Naruto like an ideal to strive to reach - like a goal, not as a person.
As for Hinata "always being there for him" that is a flat-out lie. Hinata wasn't even introduced in the manga until the Chunnin Exams while Sakura has been in Naruto's life in some form since the start of the series. In the manga, it is also Sakura who is the first to verbally encourage and stand up for Naruto, not Hinata. Sakura is also the first of all the Rookie 9 to openly support and hope Naruto's dream of being Hokage becomes reality.
Sakura is also a trained medic nin. Hinata is not. Sakura can heal others including Naruto. Sakura being a medic nin also explains her part during the Pein arc. She was busy healing others so she couldn't take part in the battle.
Speaking of the Chunnin exams, that is a great arc to understand NaruSaku. Iruka's lesson on Heaven and Earth especially.Later, this is revisited at the Heaven and Earth Bridge later on (before the Pein fight) and it bears noting that it was Sakura, not Hinata that pulled Naruto back from becoming a beast.
This is also the time when Yamato points out to Sakura that her feelings for Naruto have developed into love. Even Tsunade, Sai, and Jiraya point out at various times the affection between Naruto and Sakura. Nobody, not even Kurenai has said anything about Naruto and hinata.
Kushina pretty much tells Naruto to ignore Hinata and get with Sakura when she tells him to not fall for the first girl to COME HIS WAY, to stay clear of weird girls (Hinata's OCD stalking, mummbling, and faining all qualify her as weird) and to find a girl like her to love (Sakura has far more in common with Kushina than Hinata does; frombody mannerisms to hair color to personality).
The Kushina prophecy is mirrored in the movie Road to Ninja in that everyone thinks Sakura is dating Naruto when they show up, that Sakura finds nice-guy Sasuke creepy, and that when Tobi kidnaps her, she is bound just as Kushina is and Naruto throws on the jacket just as Minato did. The interactions between Naruto and Sakura throughout the film mimic those of Minato and Kushina life.
