Hinata waking up from her dream will be a great opportunity for Kishi to show how immature she is. Like showing her crying or at least very sad instead of being happy because everyone is free. 

It would be a great opportunity to show how incredibly single minded she is. It's time that he actually address such an issue to her character.

Actually I will be happier when Hinata sees Naruto and Sakura being a couple than NS becoming canon.Hinata's reaction is wayyyyy better.

IKR?! NaruHina fans love to say how "selfless" Hinata Hime Sama is, and I'm just like: Wut do u mean? She is one of the most selfish characters in the whole series! Hinata and Sasuke. The only person Hinata "thinks about" is Naruto, when she's actually thinking of herself with that obsession she has and Sasuke, well, Sasuke literally only thinks of himself. And Itachi.

Lol by now, Hinata and Naruto are an old married couple sitting out on their porch watching their grand kids play. Can't wait till reality hits and she's spying on Naruto and Sakura 50 years after the war while Naruto and Sakura are sitting on their porch watching pink haired blue eyes and blonde haired green eyed grandchildren playing ninja in their front yard. Hinata looks on thinking "That's MY dream you pink haired floozie" and Naruto, being able to sense negative emotion, casually launches a TBB her direction for talking about Sakura like that.

Perfect ending to the series.

If that actually happened, and Hinata ended up crying because of that, I swear all of the NH and SS fans will try to bomb Kishimoto

I can already see the protests outside his office. They'll have signs talking about "Hinata Shippuden" and how the goddess must have her man because her feelings are the only ones that matter. Meanwhile Kishi is just chillin smokin a cigar laughing inside the confines of his office.

I wonder...did Kishi ever actually intend to introduce Hinata to make a rival pairing? Or did fans just take it that way because of how at the time she was introduced, she was the only one who "liked" him and at the time Sakura was stuck on Sasuke? Was it intentional, or did the fans start it all?

Make a rival pairing was the main reason why Hinata was created. There's no other plot to her character but fanservice and making stupid pairing wars so there would be more readers. All Hinata is about is her unrequited love. All.

Definitely the fans. They made it bigger than what it actually was ever supposed to be. And now, people are stuck on SS because "Sakura will always love Sasuke", while Hinata deserves him because she's always "been their for him". NH was honestly never competition in the first place. It's just NS vs SS now, and I think we all know who'll be the winner at the very end.

I don't think Kishi would write 615 if he didn't want to troll the fans and keep the pairing wars alive. Of course the fans overdo it but I'm sure he intended it. Of course he writes the best development to the canon couple, but he wants the wars, he wants them mate.

Yeah, you have a good point. Still, NH has never been an obstacle for NS.
