I made the mistake of watching Sawyer's review and he was all in favor of the Sasuke forehead poke and how it was a throwback to Sakura's insecurities about her forehead and all I could think was...

Kishi did a flashback for EVERYTHING but the bench scene. Barf.

To be honest I don't even know if I still wanted NS to happen if Sakura never matured like we thought she did. And if Naruto was going to grow up to become and abusive father.   

 

I honestly feel like no ship won. Yeah some became canon, but at what cost? Sakura becoming a single mother? Naruto becoming a neglecting dad? Sasuke still being emo? 

 

Yeah, no. Give me the real ending.

. If NaruSaku was canon I guarantee the ending would have been 10x better

Exactly. I think the only reason he gave her all of those single panels in the first place was to pretty much make NH look a little bit more credible. He even made her the first person to wake up from the IT
