If this doesn't show there's a conflict between Kishi and SP/Shuiesha/whoever, then I don't what does.

One on side we have Kishi that's pissing all over her with each chance he gets then a week after he does a "new" chapter or interview or something that it shows Hinata being strong and the heroine.

Or if you want the crazy answer, there's a conflict with himself.

She is far too young looking. She looks younger than she did in the actual manga when she was fifteen. As for the chunin thing maybe she retired after the last once she got her man.

So it made 2 million in 3 days, I'm not going to lie that is impressive.

But let's wait and see how it goes in the long run. Because right now the success could be because people like it or because of the free chapter that came with it combined with all the ads of course. Which one it is? I don't know.

 

It's said the film made over 5 million in 3 days, unless I'm reading it wrong.

 

One thing to mention: it had a 3-day opening.

It's not that I'm taking away the accomplishment. Kudos to them to get this far. But it's like what I said yesterday, and it seems like everyone missed it, so shame on you (just kidding), that this movie was released on a Friday, which to my surprise, thought The Last was released on a Saturday. Yesterday, before stepping out, I was tracing on the box office and didn't understand why the numbers for weekend is different from the last year weekends. So I look at my last year calendar and found out that it was released on a Saturday. So I connect the dot and it made sense.

Now, back to the recent news, I have warned you that you will see the news saying it broke The Last. My problem is the lack of acknowledgement of The Last not having an extra day. In other words, who to say Boruto outperformed The Last if the latter had an extra day, which is crucial since Friday would help a lot. In fact, a lot of movies before August was released on a Saturday. Now I don't know about other Naruto movies before The Last, but since we are comparing to the last one, I thought it's unfair to even do the compare. Next thing I know a movie that is released on a Wednesday is compared to Friday with comparing to all sales, not just the weekend. The only interesting tidbit to me is the first two day did around 400 million yen while The Last did 515 million, which again only had two days.

Now, about the long running outcome, that I can't answer. It could be the same, a bit higher, or much higher. No one knows yet. Like some movies can really fall fast, some movies can have a steady race, and some movies can remain strong until a month later. I'll keep my eyes on it.

 

Well its obviously, that we have the casual fans and fans that had watched the movie returned the next day to watch it again. The Naruto Gaiden first week numbers today or tomorrow will tell how many people that is left in Kishi's fandom.

idk but, i wonder if SP, and SJ are competing against eachother, or something. it seems like they're all creating their own version of naruto, and are fighting over whoes version is better meanwhile hell froze over, and kishi's down there singing "let it gooo let it gooo no one cares any mooore let it gooo let it gooo i've turned away and slammed the door i don't care what the haters saaay let the war rage ooon...the failure never bothered me anyway" LOL

The contrast between Hinata's design in this movie and the Last is strong. It just goes to show, that Kishimoto never cared about whatever sex appeal her fanboys are always screaming about. Or any other made up facts they liked to throw around.

Truth be told it doesn't matter who's the heroine. Because at this point you'll be treated horribly regardless of your title.

It pisses me off to see that title was handed to Hinata just like everything else, but right now the title that one bears is meaningless.
