Is the movie going to override RtN in your opinion? Or did it already? I honestly don't know what to make out of the numbers; they confuse me.

If I remember correctly in did in total run 1.48 or 1.47 billions of yen. So the Last a first day with 1.48 billions of yen - was a huge bs to me as economist. There was no possible way of that. Eventually movie will have some profit to SP, but I wonder how many $ they spend on this huge company, because RtN was succes because it had a low prize/quality but was succed due to plot and harmony with canon story.

To me it sounded like BS, too. Most of us, don't really know anything about the cinematic market. I myself don't, so I treated the intial box office news on animenewsnetwork and saiyaninisland with skepticism.

Most likely this movie will make more money than RtN, but what does it matter, right? It only got these number b/c of a) it's status as the "last" movie, b) b/c this is first movie in two years, so people are craving a new movie, c) b/c of that damn no-refund policy, and d) b/c all kinds of groups of people will see it. To many japanese fans, however, this movie will always be trash.

EDIT: lol, TONY XD; and it's not the 11 minutes I think: must be the scene in which Hinata is leaving naruto. I saw that scene and that was bad, too. You guys don't know to how many scenes I've exposed myself to already.

She explained it somewhere, but it would take forever to find this post. She didn't view the forehead poking as anything romantic. I forgot what reasoning she gave... It was more about Sasuke than Sakura when she explained the forehead poking scene.

At first day with bs on 1.48 billions and etc there was something about 186% better then RtN, and I can belive in this, because of no-refound policy, but that's only mean Last got on 86% more money on day 1, that RtN did on same day 1. And on 3rd day or 4th it decreased to 156% Last better then RtN at same period. Did you get what I mean? And you perfectly right about second half, I'm in marketing myself, and it always hit's me when companys choose this old trick as "last" in franchise that is long runner, because it's 90% kitten into you face, only sell more tickets, what eventually happend. What I'm curios, is that why is there no lawsuits, because of this, no only no-refund, but cheap tactics with promoting characters that barely made it into movie.
