Well, reading that "NH is accepted" didn't do well to my mood.

Personally I don't think this is surprising "accepted" does not mean LIKED it just means that it is what it is...Just like it is here. I don't LIKE it, I don't WANT it, it's just there. I can't fight it and stick it to the man, they don't give a kitten...All I can do is ignore it.

These numbers don't lie. The movie is on track to beat RTN. Only time will tell if it actually does. 

 

Just to clarify, I am not saying that the Last is a good movie because it is making money. I am just saying that it is an illusion to think that majority of the japanese fandom hate the movie when it is actually making money.

 

We care because honest reviews should not be taken down. We care because others are trying to SILENCE the naysayers. Its the principle of the damn thing. 

You clearly don't get it so let me break it down for you. All the reviews with HIGH stars do not get thumbs up. The reviews with lower stars are more liked. You want to tell me that doesn't mean something? I say bs. 

It says the more people disliked the movie then liked it, at-least in this sample group. 

 

I understand but like you said, this is just one sample group. What about other sample groups? 

 

and how do you know the reviews are "100% honest"? either way, we cant use some reviews on yahoo to judge the whole Naruto fandom's opinion on the movie. If the success of the movie was so bad and if majority of the naruto fans hated the movie, there will be no way SP will be able to hide that.

 

 

This whole stuff is just like with Twilight. People bash the hell out of it but that never stopped it from getting popular among some people to the point that it made so much money. I just think this is a case where people who disliked the movie are a vocal minority. 

 

If you want to focus on these Yahoo reviews, more power to you. This is all I'll say on this matter.

It's the worst attempt that I have witnessed. Like I said, I could have accept it but not only it made no sense and completely rewrite it, but also made characters look terrible, especially Naruto. Now, he has become a scumbag. I have no idea how anime studio or maybe even Kishi is aware on how poorly written this is.

Exactly. It's like how I did with the whole Kaguya thing. I accepted it but where it all came from, I have no idea. Same thing with no eyes Susanoo. In the end, I ate too much and the next one from the service, I'll say I'm done.

If it was equal as NS, I would be ok. It's sad because I did give the movie a chance but man, talk about a huge clusterkitten. Like the first five minutes gave you a plot hole of Naruto doing shadow clones. That is like seeing the intro of Super Mario Bros movie and you'll know it's going to suck.

Well, hope majority of people clearly can see that all this is done by SP, and reason behind all this - more money. Simply as it is - if Naruto ended conclusive (proper pairings as NS, SK and all other plot questions are answered) - there is no need/purpose to part 3. Kishimoto could have some rest for couple of month, and then have some month realise in other jump journal with stories of some characters from Naruto, like "episode of Taka", "Episode of Kumo", "Episode of Suna", but oh well... to low standarts of quality of product, and to greedy to let go money cow.

I'm actually a little bit happy about this. They codn't come up with good excuse for not creating team7/NS movie, as conclusive epilogues - so fans of series and fantards of NH must eat this kitten. Well, for me last canon chapter was 698, so I don't bother watching this.

Well, you already know about all the hype about "last" Naruto movie, fraud due to huge misleading in marketing and etc. So it's only natural that they got some money from this "no-refound" policy.

Honestly, I don't care about the yahoo reviews that much, but it is a public website in which people can express their opinion. I hate the argument that "the antis are simply louder". Why is Naruto different than other movies? Why should people who like a movie for which they paid shut up and not defend what made the movie worthwhile in their opinion?

Yeah, it's expected that the movie makes a lot of money. All kinds of different groups of people are watching it. It is a highly anticipated movie after all. But that does not necessarily imply that the majority of the fandom likes it. Some people watch it just b/c it's the "last" movie. Some went b/c they didn't get a refund. The number I am seeing on animenewsnetwork only happened b/c of SP's dirty tricks.
