dang the wiki says hiruzen's wife got killed by tobi when kushina was giving birth... but it's ok it's fine obito can't do anything wrong he's a good guy naruto swears by him 
i actually assumed konohamaru's parents died since he didn't break down badly when hiruzen died i get the feeling he's used to death and perhaps accepts that it happens in a ninja's line of duty

You can't bring logic and canon into what THEY want in the story.
Because addressing Kishimoto's blatant plotholes leads to madness.
More like Kishimoto's apathetic for story and development beyond making the ambiguously gay duo of Sasuke and Naruto.
Speaking of which, there is a question I always ask this to proenders and I always get either a blank stare or a "He would try to do both."
If Naruto had a choice between saving Sasuke or saving Hinata and he can only save one, which would he choose? In all hurtful truth, Naruto would save Sasuke over Hinata. We know it. They know. We all know it, but they don't want to admit it.

Wait a tick...Weren't they just trying to pair him off with Hanabi? Did they change their mind because she actually shows a hint of personality and sass?
Oh yeah I actually forgot about Hanabi. It's been so long to the point I don't give a kitten about anything Naruto or Boruto related. Seriously there are so many great anime I'm watching when someone will ask me" do you watch Boruto" I replied "who?"

Well Bolt will either think Naruto is a kitten old man his entire life and this was just proof of it. Until Naruto does something impressive which make him realize he should have been worshiping him all along.
Or... this is going to be the origins and proof the Sasuke and Naruto did have feeling for their wives.
