NS IS going to happen and its not going to make up for the fact that Sakura basically just wanted to be with Sasuke romantically despite him saying he plans on killing Naruto, Tsunade, Gaara the other kages and enforce dictatorship over all of mankind.

There's nothing really Kishi can do to make up for this even if he somehow squeezes in Naruto somehow being a gold medal after this little incident.

We know what she's going to do next just like we know what Sasuke was going to do. She's going to regain consciousness and head over to the Valley with Kakashi only to discover too late that Naruto and sasukekoon is dead but then Naruto wakes up and she embraces her beloved silver medal just like in the OVA.

How can he destroy this though? Looking at this reasonably, after the fight this series will end. Sakura just told Sasuke that she loves him. Exactly how does this end well?

615 never bothered me because Naruto had no romantic feelings at the time and that was obvious whereas Hinata did and we didn't care because its Hinata (lol)

 

But here we relied on the fact that both parties aren't interested romantically and that Sakura wouldn't be this inept. 615 has an excuse why Naruto did what he did (chakra transfer) 693 doesn't. Unless Sakura says the whole thing was a joke.

Not all is llost yet close to everything is lost which fortunately can be gained back again. How much ever I don't trust the writer....I am sure he did this deliberately and he does have a plan to sort this mess. What remains to be seen is whether it will be satisfactory or not...

Kishi plans on doing this to give us closure that Sakura would end up with Naruto had Sasuke not left.....the problem is he took a piss on everything in part 2 to do it as well as Sakura's character.

It doesn't matter if its inconsistent with Kakashi's speech, everything about Sakura and romance in this manga is contradicting itself. She flat out said she wanted to be with Sasuke knowing damn well that he never had an interest in her.....so there was no reason for her to even throw herself out to him like that in a  romantic way
